Well, I just read that the author found the demo to be smooth, held a constant framerate, and looked great....so hence, my 'glad to see the x1 version chugging along well' comment.
Oh, and I also got to play bf4 a few times on a few events, so there's that. And from what I played, I can't say I don't agree with the author.
And I don't know why I got those 15+ disagrees for my original comment.. I just said that I'm glad to hear...
Glad to see the x1 version chugging along well.
I'm not expecting a story on tlou standards. Just a fun time hacking and slashing and a solid story to move the action along.
I couldn't care any less.
Looks fun and silly to me to pass the time.
Well, from what I've played of ryse at some of the events and in my city, I can't say I agree with much of the stuff the author writes about.
Sometimes, I would use qte to see some cool finishing moves, but at times when I wanted the game to move a bit faster, killing your enemies without using any qte at all is possible. Like that examiner article, the combat felt comparable to the arkham games- fluid and quick.
But that's just me. I haven't had ...
This game sounds great, from everything I've read about it so far.
Definitely one of the launch games I'll be getting.
Yup, and from the time that I've spend here at n4g, I've seen this happen a ton. The mods here clearly favor one system over the other.
And it's also one of the main reasons why I'm distancing myself from this website over time and hoping to let it go completely by next month.
It's sad, really.
@deadpoolio
I love it how you leave out ryse and deadrising 3, along with crimson dragon.
it's missing the day 1 patch, man.
you can literally see the drm activation message in the background.
I don't get why this is a big deal..
It's pretty obvious that the console needs that day 1 patch to kill the drm stuff.
This is pretty darned awesome.
I'll definitely keep my xbox 360 on top of getting an xbox one.
Yup, we get to keep them permanently, even if our gold membership runs out.
Why on earth is this stuff such a big deal when a game looks good?
i agree. youtube sucks at compression.
Lol, that was good.
+1 bubble.
Haha, I bought around 10 of them for 23 bucks a piece a while back. I'm good till at least 2020. :D
they've invested billions of dollars into their servers and cloud business over the past several years. they have huge piles of cash and personnel. how is this not right? makes sense to me.
Steam holds its own, but when it comes to online gaming, it can't hold a candle to xbox live, especially with the new free dedicated servers for all developers on the xbox one.
doesn't matter to me.
I'd rather not use my real name anyways.
it's cool. just glad to see more ki footage.
