I'm really excited for spartan ops, considering that it's supposed to add another 10 hours of gameplay with cutscenes and new stories.
Doubt it, that just looks like a console skin.
There is the possibility that both Microsoft and Nintendo have similar gaming cloud services already in the works and it just may be a matter of time before they officially unveil them to the public, but I applaud Sony on making such a strategic and future-driven purchase.
Pretty awesome skins. Personally, I like the splosion man and grunt skins.
Never mind, I just read the game is free, so it's all cool.
Ahem, are those the exact same levels and maps from previous CoD titles?.. :/
It's likely that Microsoft (Nintendo as well) has already begun work on their own cloud gaming service with the xbox. It's just a matter of when they want to reveal it.
No, I'm pretty sure that is the chief. A previous Forward Unto Dawn teaser that showed off a spartan was confirmed to be the chief by 343i themselves. Yes, the series revolves around the new character, but that does not mean that the chief is not in the series. The character the chief inspires is commanding the unsc infinity fleet, he is not a spartan. This teaser clearly shows off a spartan with the same armor that the chief wore in Halo Legends.
The spartan ops season 1 (free) has been confirmed to be around 10 hours total, so I'm guessing the 12 hours is the original campaign. So, we'll be getting ~12 hours halo 4 campaign, 10 hours spartan ops, forge, customs, multiplayer, theater, and whatever else they may have planned for us at comic con and beyond. In my opinion, well worth the price.
I rented it for the main story, enjoyed it, tried the mp and hated it. As far as Call of Duty games, I'm still enjoying CoD 4 and MW 2 for mp, both of which easily outstrip MW 3 in terms of mp.
It's considered to be one of the greatest titles to grace gaming as a result of the game's accomplishments at the time it came out. Sure, if you're playing it for the first time right now, it may not seem so impressive (I still think it's awesome), but go back in time and play it then for the first time and you would have realized what it did for gaming in general.
The game looks fantastic. These days, I usually tend to purchase more downloadable games over $60 retail games anyways.
Ahem, MS have already since long ago clarified that they want to pay moto the licensing fees. But that isn't the problem. MS said they'll pay, but then Moto comes out saying that they want to charge MS an annual $4bn for the fees. They're basically singling out microsoft for whatever reason for a FRAND patent. Where's the fairness in charging company X $0.05 per unit for the tech and charging company Y (microsoft) much more by a significant margin? The h.264 is an industr...
Wow, compared to what sterling said, what perez did was pretty much nothing. Sterling is just an ass.
Sounds like a pretty sweet game, I'll have to try it out.
I agree, it did get annoying somewhat, but I usually just double jumped or used agility to easily get back onto the platform and ended with a rightward or leftward kick so my opponent didn't get the chance to easily knock me off again.
Wow...these mods still can't get it right...
Every alyx model mod that is released is just absolute crap, I'm sorry to say.
I agree with the majority of those points, especially with the idea of cross-play, except the third one. It's subjective, but I like the challenge of fighting to stay within the arena and getting my enemy near the edge and finally booting them over. Always fun to see them blasting away over the edge or into the distance and it feels as if the world is a little more open than just the arena.
I'm not sure, I think the second one?
For me, Forza Horizon seems like a nice change of pace and setting for the series and one that I welcome. I like Criterion, don't get me wrong, for their burnout games in general. However, I'm not too keen on their direction with the Need For Speed franchise. Sure, Criterion's take on the series looks solid and polished, but their transformation of the series is just not what I look for in a Need for Speed game. Give me a game like Underground 2 again and I'll happily give...
