oh man, this game is going to be so freaking exciting to play. Awesome story, great characters, and solid gameplay. Just like any other naughty dog game, it'll be quite the experience.

Honestly, I didn't think it was as bad as this article makes it out to be. I was disappointed, yes. However, I was disappointed with all three this year. The only one that really excited me was Ubisoft. They're doing an incredible job with their games.
I honestly think that the author is confusing the "incremental" and "unsatisfying" changes of Call of Duty for Halo.

I'll definitely be getting the majority of the games on that list, but Gears of War: Judgement launches in 2013, not 2012. I don't know if the author knows that fact.
They've obviously just planning ahead. 343i isn't the only company that does this. Besides, I think they realize that Halo 4 will be an instant commercial success and the team is just polishing the game now anyways.
I just don't think it'll reach the same level of success the wii experienced.
