Pretty awesome animation. Props to the 343i animation team.
Speak for yourself. I want it.
You do realize that dinosaurs come in all sizes and shapes? They're not just t-rexes.
Sounds like windows phone 8 is a major step up from windows phone 7.5. I will surely keep this os in mind this winter.
That's a long while away, but I always take Pachter's words with a grain of salt.
Fortunately, there'll be enough games coming out on both the ps3 and 360 to keep me gaming until then.
I just hope some of the specs have changed somewhat since these plans were drawn out in 2010.
Hopefully they pull some inspiration from the Guardian map in Halo 3. I loved that map, with its dense atmosphere, greenish hue, and seeing and hearing creatures roaming around in the dense forest around you.
What was wrong with the mp map?
Nope. I'm not too old yet, but I think I find a good balance between playing games and general life and the people in it. Games offer entirely new and unique universes to explore, experiences that the majority of us probably have no ability to find in the real world. It's a gateway, and that in itself is something I will never regret having experienced.
The smartglass may provide less functionality than the wiiu, but it's free. You basically just need a tablet or smartphone and you're ready to use it.
Nope, just enhancing it. :p
There's going to be an update this fall. It just won't produce a major overhaul of the dashboard as we've seen over the last few years. There will be slight cosmetic changes, judging from the e3 2012 dash, but we're not going to see a major change such as the change from the first dash to the nxe. And yes, this update will include smartglass support.
This is actually pretty awesome.
So many possibilities. :)
Have they revealed the pricing yet?
That's so awesome. My nursery was in a room of yellow and blue walls. :(
I agree that someone like marty o'donnel would have made the better choice for a halo game, but I think 343i specifically wanted to part ways with the main themes of the original trilogy. And I think Neil Davidge is accomplishing that wonderfully here. This track really exemplifies the mysterious and foreboding theme as you step onto the world or Requiem for the first time. It isn't Halo, but I feel it will do an excellent job capturing the themes throughout the game.
I was actually surprised to find the lack of any wii media or information, given that nintendo still have yet to reveal a launch date for the wii u. I know the wii is selling poorly right now, but it'd still be great to have seen some coverage on the console as the user base is quite large.
"Sakaguchi said that after finishing The Last Story, he was planning on moving into iOS game development.."
Is he moving into iOS development for good? Or will he still be developing for consoles as well? I honestly hope it's the latter.
Scores are in no way the definitive and correct indicators. Hands-on experience is what counts and you should give the game a try before writing it off.
Ok, so this game gets a 9 on ign and a 6.5 on gamespot...that's a huge difference in scores between two well-known review sites. Anyways, I'll just try it out myself and see.
