I'm really loving the consistent support turn10 are giving this game.
There's definitely truth to that statement.
It's a tablet-sized device with tablet/pc capabilities, so it's essentially already superior to the ipad and android tablets through functionality already. In terms of execution, we'll just have to see but I'm pretty darn sure that ms won't release a half-baked product.
Hmm, I'll definitely have to check out the game now.
For me, it is. The selections definitely load up faster, almost instantly rather than getting that circulating double circle cursor.
Same here. . I like my current 360 and ps3, but I can't wait to see what the future holds.
surprisingly, the ie browser on the 360 is very slick and quite fast. the pins work really well, and I love how the games selection on the dashboard load up instantly now.
That was pretty great, stuck in my head now...
Personally, I found that xbox gun ad to be enjoyable. If the author was judging based on either the lack or presence of gameplay footage in the ads, then I understand, but I still found it pretty fun to watch.
Remove Forge?? Why would 343i do that when they're introducing so many tools that will further refine and speed up the process?
You could make the same argument for just about any other mobile device that you may use in your home. The browser is there just for the extra convenience. I'm just glad they're finally putting a browser on the 360.
Game looks very fun and fluid, but, honestly, it looks nothing like a need for speed game. Rather, it screams burnout. That's not a bad thing, it's just that I really do miss playing the good old nfs-style gameplay.
Hmm, I also noticed something similar in bungie's contract with activision. It said something like that if their games get a particular score or above on metacritic, they will be given a bonus pay or something.
This is why I never buy most limited editions/collector's editions on day 1.
I'm assuming you're referencing that other piece of news that circulated around here a few hours ago? Well, FYI, there was some confusion surrounding the situation. If you read the article, you would have learned that the Vancouver studio was not shut down. Rather, two games, a flight simulation game and a kinect game, were cancelled.
I agree. Well said. He might as well said that windows 8 is a catastrophe for his business and income.
This submission should be updated to read that ms didn't shut down the studio. Rather, two games were cancelled.
While I don't like the metro look of the start screen, I honestly don't understand his argument. The only major changes to windows 8 is a different start/login screen where you can customize everything to your liking and place shortcuts so that you can easily access the information you want if you're in a hurry. In addition, windows 8 will be providing bouts of performance enhancements, new version of dx, faster boot-up, shutdown, etc. Other than changes to the start screen, I ...
One of the most epic in-game trailers I've seen in quite a while.
Oh man, this game looks beautiful.
