I agree. I disliked earlier dragon age games, but inquisition was great fun.
The Witcher is completely over hyped, especially with the perfect scores it's getting.

The early combat looked terrible. So cheesy and arcade like. Not to mention it had first person shooter elements. If that was still in there, people would be going ape sh*t. "Blah blah blah can't believe there's FPS in a final fantasy." The original trailers looked like a crappy rpg that I'm glad they changed.

Relax, buddy. The Witcher 3 is a great game but by no means is it ground breaking or way ahead of past rpg's. If you just jumped into the RPG genre then I can understand your lack of knowledge here.
