I was thinking the same thing, PS4, one year of PSPlus, and infamous second son and knack, or something like that, all for 399.99
Still some good games coming out this year. Shadow of Mordor, and FryCry 4, are at the top of my list for the remainder of the Year, along with a few other titles I might pick up, before the Year of the Broke gamer begins in January

They haven't been gaining ground. You have to out sell your competitor to gain ground, MS has yet to do that.
I'll try explaining this one more time. For the sake of argument, let's say PS4 is at 3 million in the US, and XB1 is at 2 million, and let's say PS4 sold 250,000 units in August, and XB1 sold 240,000 units in August... The lead was 1 million now it's 1 million 10,000 units... For XB1 to gain ground they have to OUTSELL the PS4. You and your fel...
I'm at level 7 and played for 3 hours... My brother has played a little longer than me and is at 11. Anyone that has played this game non stop could easily hit level cap. I imagine that future DLC will bring higher level caps.
Plus Halo 5 is supposed to be out around then. Xbox fans will buy that a lot more than Tomb Raider.
I think Destiny and FryCry 4 will be GOTY I mean so many people give them out I can see both winning a few of them.
No doubt it's a good value, no doubt it's improved, no doubt if you're a fan of Halo you'd want this for XB1, but if your not a fan of Halo this isn't actually reason to buy an XB1. Heck I still know people that are halo fans but won't pick up a XB1 till Halo 5 comes out.
If it's only under consideration, then yes it's still kind of a dream
Well I am a Playstation gamer, and I would buy games like Mario kart, Zelda, metroid, X, and donkey kong. Plus if there wasn't a Nintendo console there fan base would buy there games on other consoles.
The same if playstation or Xbox stopped making consoles, but put there games out still for consoles and PC, they could still make lots of money
I seriously doubt Nintendo will stop making consoles, but if they did, and then became a 3rd party publisher... Let's just say they would make a lot of money selling there games on playstation, Xbox, and PC.
Plus they are giving away any game with purchase of an XB1 during the week destiny launches, to try and combat the PS4 destiny bundle... Little do they realize that bundle has been selling very well for a couple of months... And will help Sony keep ahead in sales for September... The month XB1 launches in 29 new territories.

You are the one that needs to come back to the real world, Direct X is not named for Xbox, and has been around longer than MS ever even thought about console gaming. Now DX12 will improve performance on XB1 one, but even Phil Spencer said only slightly better his comparison was think Perfect Dark Zero compared to Halo 4
If MS makes more money then they spend on releasing in each of those countries then yes it matters, if they lose money then no it doesn't matter.
If MS thinks that is going to help them out sell PS4 world wide then they are in for a rude awakening

Umm, anytime is the right moment to make that announcement. The sooner the better, unless it's still 3-4 years away.
@mrkrispy well I guess that depends, if they shipped a million, then that's impressive, if they shipped 100,000 then that's still about 200,000 less than PS4 in its first week, so not that good.
And if it sells out first week and then drops to the hundreds like the 360, what then.
Though no official announcements have come out... I think every gamer deserves a chance to play this game... No matter there platform... So for XB1 owners I hope it does eventually make it's way to that console.

Forza fans probably already have an X1, dance central? Really. And I don't see SSOD moving that many units. I think Sony will still have October and the rest of the year really... There sales aren't gonna slow down there gonna pick up during the holiday... And I don't see anything even MCC that will boost XB1 sales, past PS4
