an old republic title for consoles would hit the spot just fine. i've been thinking about getting the mmo for pc, but i can't talk myself into making that sort of investment.
let me guess: you play on "mortal" difficulty :-D
god of war seems like the best bet. i'd like to see a mgs5, but the teaser would make no sense in that context.
you're going to be waiting for a loooong time.
unfortunately for me, mgs4 kind of took a step in the wrong direction by becoming so "westernized". i preferred the gameplay of mgs3 and i wish kojima would have either kept it that way, or made that control scheme/layout an option.
wyckyd awesome.
some people get turned off by the fact that there are ac games coming out every year, but i prefer that to the mgs alternative, i.e. 1 every 4-5 years.
i came up with this idea after the first assassins creed. it's nice to see ubisoft listens to its fans.
excellent point, org XII; if this was an iphone/ipad contraption people would already be lining up to buy it.
i played one yesterday at a local gamestop. that thing was sweet. obviously, i'll be waiting for the holiday season to see if they release a cheap bundle on black friday. i'm starting to save up for it right now.
a metal gear title set some time between ww1 and the end of ww2 would be quite welcome by me. let's see the cobras in action, in their prime. it'd be sweet to play as different characters too after you beat the game multiple times in order to switch up the game play in fresh ways, such as getting to be the end, the fury, or the sorrow. three very distinct styles.
-_-
i came up with this idea after the first assassin's creed; at least ubisoft was listening to their fans, but i'd like to be acknowledged for my foresight.
it sounds like kojima stole my idea :-x .... ;-)
i'm in favor of a world war 2 era throwback featuring a young version of the boss, aka the joy, as well as the sorrow, the end, the fury, the pain, and the fear. maybe we can find out how they banded together then how things fell apart.
i was really looking forward to bf3 and was considering pre-ordering it, but the beta was lackluster. i've been playing cod for years, and i've been getting bored by it recently, although now i am warming up to it again.
i wouldn't complain about a new ip, but with the way mgs4 ended, i think he can take the mgs franchise in a different direction. i'm a big fan of the mgs universe, which is why i'd like to see the franchise continue, even if it is with mostly different characters.
just give us mgs 5 already :-O
outside of half life, i can't think of many fps's with great storytelling :-/
if a game really is that bad, people won't buy it. what is the purpose of trying to convince individuals that they shouldn't purchase something they're interested in? it's bad enough these cod fan-boys(girls) are as pervasive as they are when you're trying to play the game, but then they have to go on websites like this and try to badmouth a game that looks even slightly threatening to them.
i hope the cod fanatics stay away from battlefield 3, at least...
both, eventually, probably.
f'ck yeah. it's my favorite way to play.
