and why do people think you won't be able to upgrade the hdd? the 4gb xbox has flash memory, and you can upgrade its hdd.
i'd pick that up for a very cheap price then update the hdd myself.
it's cheaper than what the 360 and ps3 launched at (with respect to skus) and that was 7/6 years ago. this is an excellent deal. i'm almost tempted to get one. maybe they'll have an awesome bundle this holiday season.

damn. i really want to see how much the super slim will be. my current ps3 is getting old, plus i wouldn't mind having one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

raiden is a solidus clone? since when? i thought solidus said raiden was his adopted son.
theory: the game takes place at different junctures in the mgs timeline, e.g. mgs2 and mgs3. some of it might be directly after mgs:pw, some of it might be during the late 70's up to the 90's (i.e. metal gear era). that could explain why big boss looks so old.
one thing i wish they would put in mgs games: the ability to play the game in japanese with english subtitles. every time they show the announce trailers, the voice actors always seem so much more bad-ass. they sound like they have more gravitas. especially a character like raiden.

initially it looked like it would be a stinker, but after platinum games took over, there may be some hope for it yet. it's starting to look like a cross between bayonetta and ninja gaiden. i thoroughly enjoyed both games, so if it is somewhere between those two, i won't be disappointed. if you're expecting a mgs type of game, you're looking in the wrong place though.
yeah, i'm sure casuals really care about games like bayonetta and pikmin. get the f'ck out of here.
