i hadn't played that game seriously in over two years. i turned it on last night and i was terrible. i sort of got back into the groove this morning. managed to make it through the first act in a little over an hour with no alerts and no kills. it should be easier after one playthrough, provided i get all the sweet weapons, i.e. grenade launcher, mosin nagant, et al. good luck to everyone that needs to do the big boss run.
yeah, gsp is a complete martial artist. he's probably the wave of the future as far as what fighters will try to be like from now on. no holes in his game, well versed in striking, wrestling, and grappling.
a lot of the other guys mentioned were pretty much one dimensional.
here's an article i found about how much it costs sony to make a vita:
http://www.egmnow.com/artic...
so it doesn't appear that they're selling it at a loss.
i thought they were selling it at a slight profit. maybe i am confused with the 3ds, but i thought i read that around the time it came out. does anyone have the numbers on this?
also, let's say they were selling it a cost when they first released it; as production cycles advance, usually they come up with cheaper ways to make the product, thus lowering their costs. i'd think they'd be getting close to that point by now.
hopefully this means a vita price drop will be coming soon. they've probably scooped up the majority of the early adopters already. time to get the next tier of consumers.
you can get it for $20 right now. go to best buy.
sweet hotness.
are people that claim nintendo would alienate the people that already own a 3ds by adding the second analog stick really that stupid? if anything, it would give them more of an incentive to get a new 3ds. this model has limited appeal for those that already own a 3ds. use your brains people. you sound like idiots. you're also ignoring the fact that old games don't have to be revamped. going forward, developers can use the second analog for camera control, like most consoles do, o...
yeah, and none of us "need" a 3ds. the second circle pad could have definitely improved gameplay.
the only thing that would have convinced me to get a 3ds would be the addition of a second analog stick. all of the nintendo apologists that are claiming that it isn't necessary are missing the point. you don't "have" to use it, but having it as an option which is included, as opposed to having to but the peripheral, makes it a lot more enticing.
clean up on aisle "my pants"!
hopefully this means they'll throw in an 8gb or higher memory card. 4gb isn't going to cut it these days.
i wonder what kojima san is referring to when he says that there will be something taboo in his game.
personally i'm hoping for a ww2 era mgs with the cobras fighting it out in europe, africa, east asia, australia, and south america. most ww2 games have ignored the warfare in countries such as china or australia; i wouldn't mind seeing what kojima could do with that.
didn't they mention a price?
interesting...i kind of liked the kara character though. would have liked to see her in a game.
this might be last generation where i buy any consoles. i don't feel like i've gotten my money's worth over the past 5 years. i probably only have a handful of games that i've bought that have made me glad i have a ps3/360/or wii. it's ridiculous that you get one or two games per generation from your favorite franchises, then have to move on. one of the main reasons i got a ps3 was for team ico's game, and they still haven't even announced a release date or sho...
same damn thing i was wondering. mgs is my favorite series of all time, but they take way too long between announcements.
did that have anything to do with the kara demo?
i liked a lot of what i saw, but i was very disappointed that we didn't see mgs5, agent, or quantic dream's new project.
not for some people, including me. speaking of snake eater, i had to have beaten that game over a dozen times trying to get the fox-hound ranking at the end.
