This!!!
Thank you... you are a breathe of fresh logic good sir.

Yep! Exactly. That's what they are eluding to in the article/leak/rumor.
Personally, I don't see how a massive cops vs. robbers heist with varying amounts of loot based on the success would be a bad thing. Way more fun than a 4 person heist.
I mean, seriously, how hard would it be for a straight up co-op heist with 4 people? Not very. Most of the mechanics are already in place. The delays have clearly been to launch this larger, much more ambitious ...
Jeeeezus, what could ever possibly make these entitled whining little brats happy?
Seriously? Nearly everyone instantly jumps to the most negative conclusion when you hear any leak details.
Why would cops vs. robbers be bad? It's still co-op. You still have one large team vs. a series of smaller teams trying to stop you. Pretend the cops are AI... poof, there you go.
Also, the typical complain first/don't actually read the article b...
What? This article is pointless... it was written to clearly initiate yet another pointless platform war while generating clicks.
Can you build a PC for the cost of a PS4? No... of course not, not anytime soon either.
Can you make a living and work from home on your PS4? No... of course not. For $400 you can't build a PC that can outperform a PS4, but you can* build a PC that can be used as a workstation to make enough money to buy a PS4/XB1 and a gamin...
Impressive!
"Cowen analyst Doug Creutz said that they were initially projecting next-generation sales of GTA 5 of up to 10 million."
You think that range is only inclusive of the next gen consoles and not the PC? The only time an upgraded re-release occurred for GTA in the previous gen was GTA IV on PC... I'd imagine that those 30 day sales figures were included in this estimate.
Everyone else on this thread talked about either buying or not buying the new...
That's the same instruction I was given for prom night.
Well, I'm glad to see when Sony has an issue that everyone is nice and calm/collected.
Does anyone think that the comments would be slightly different if there was an XBL outage?
My comment is based on written previews, stating that the game is incredibly linear/stiff.
Those are previews however; I hope that I am wrong!
Damn disagree nazis up in here... did they add the stipulation that N4G users MUST be pro-PS4 no matter what to the terms and conditions yet? Jeez. Haha.
Nope, I have an X1 and a PC, buying a PS4 for Uncharted and TLOU: RM...
This game looks like the essence of linear boredom, polished and looks pretty, sure! But, I could carefully carve, sand and stain a piece of wood to look beautiful... and it is still a boring piece of wood at the end of the day.
To some of us, it is! If I want linear I'll watch a movie.
Yes! Thank you for saying that. Battlefield 2 on the PC was by far the best in the series.
They are trying WAY too hard to cram a bunch of crap into the BF games. If they returned to a more simplistic game with clean mechanics, it could turn their series around.
When I play Battlefield now it feels like you are trying to play COD while going down a water slide and have a strobe light attached to your head. It is extremely disorienting, too much is going on ...
OUCH...
Haha. I thought the same thing. Then you went and said it.
In their defense, it is ambitious! In my defense (after paying for the standalone)... the progress is a bit slow and I don't have 10 hours to invest just to get a motorcycle helmet, only to be shot 3 minutes later.
Ahhhhahahahah...
I clicked on it just to see his (or her?) post.
Dang. I don't care what happened or how it got like this; Crytek in trouble just plain sucks for the industry. Their engine spawned Far Cry and Crysis... Far Cry arguably sparked some serious innovation with the graphically advanced engine back in the early 2000's. Evolving into Crysis becoming a benchmarking behemoth.
Edit: Assuming the talented team can find jobs that fit them well, hopefully their skills will be applied properly in the future.
Agreed.
The whining has reached a hilarious tipping point. Nearly every single story is met with extreme negativity and a console-war agenda.
To dismiss your comment by saying "you doing the same thing by complaining about people complaining" is silly. No, people's constant whimpering and entitlement is extremely annoying.
If Grumpy's comment can calm some of these people down, to the point of understanding why competition...
Mathematically, I'm not sure which would be more complex. From a gameplay perspective, not every game should have fully destructible environments or even dynamic character animations.
However, I'm a firm believer that an open-world game should be exactly that. If something like GTA V had destructible environments (at this point we're talking about buildings, walls, bridges, craters, etc), the depth would be exponentially increased.
Even an "...
I see 10 tech demos a year promoting real-time environmental destruction that never makes it into games due to bandwidth limitations/multiplayer issues.
This is why I'm excited to learn more about Crackdown 3.
It's cool, don't get me wrong, just feels like a little bonus feature coming before other in-game features that would impact immersion more significantly.
Hmmm... hair rendering? Really? I feel like this is the kind of thing the industry should be focused on AFTER we start seeing a bit more dynamic destruction/physics/animations /etc...
Seems about as useful as horse armor in comparison. Just my $0.02.
I clicked "Agree"... but, it was tough. Ha, both are plagued with issues and need a serious reboot to earn respect.
However, I must agree with purely based on the open mechanics of BF vs. the garbage "Copy n paste" approach COD has taken re-releasing the exact same game year after year.
At least they are trying to innovate with BF! They broke it in the process, but, they are trying.
If BF kept the vehicles and destructio...
