The good old days, when PC Gamer magazine came with a CD packed with demos and interviews. Hahaha. It was the closest thing to the internet we could hope for back then.

My only guess is that the leaked GTX 880 specs were based on the 20 nm chip.
I would imagine they've been working pretty hard on tightening the security of GTA:O similar to how MMO's with "real" economies have done so in the past...
If you have played GTA:O recently, the amount of fixes/tweaks/patches is all heading in the right direction.
It's still a bit too hard to make decent money in my opinion; but, I suppose that is their goal.

This is fine though, people debating whether or not Destiny will be good. It's a legit question. The game was well built, but is it going to last? Or is it just a Borderlands (BoringLands?) clone w/ a gloss coat of Halo on top?

Just in case you've been vacationing under a rock, you WILL be able to transfer your GTA:Online Character(s?) over to the next gen version.
THIS was my main prediction/hope... and it came true. Thankfully. Otherwise, I would have been hard pressed to dump another 100 hours into a new character/bank account/etc.

Agreed. There is literally no comparison to GTAV aside from GTAIV.
People can throw opinions at this as much as you want, talk about how much budget/time they had, explain why other open world games weren't really trying to be open world... etc. But, GTAV is the benchmark by a very wide margin.

The mechanics alone put this above a 5/10.
Assuming the game grows organically (not using paid DLCs)... this could be a long running title. If everything costs money however, people will grow tired of Destiny faster than we should.
