Misleading title, even the author disagrees with it.
Couldn't agree more.
It's simple, they're toddlers having a tantrum first and foremost with the whole Sony can't have it now nonsense. But they're also scared to completely burn their bridges with Sony in case it goes pear shaped with everyone else.
I have to agree that the excuse is pretty weak, at the heart of it they are saying they are exclusive to everybody except Sony. Far too transparent.
Alot of the pricing has been quite reasonable on PS store lately, except for EA and Activision and maybe a couple of others. Those prices aren't set by Sony.
Although the content could be better on the EU store, It's poor compared to the US.
EA are easily the worst though, £49.99 for FIFA 12 and £54.99 for Battlefield 3. You can get them for half that on retail.
Reviews from media outlets can't always be trusted either.
The reverse is nearly always true with this joker, and there is over 11 months of 2012 left.
What’s Right With Exploiting Design Flaws in Online Games?
Of course video games can be classed as art. If an untidy bed can be, then why not video games.

What I find baffling here is that having a genuine reasonable preference can be categarised in the same manner as somebody who follows their chosen hardware to the point they have to continuosly spout bull about the competition and blindly ignore the flaws of their own preference. Fanboy is used too loosely in my opinion.
Interesting theory, I've noticed CoD doesn't appear so much now on my friends list. I've got 40 on my list and only 2 or 3 play MW3, and yet 2 years back on MW2 it was 15 to 20. That definitly doesn't reflect an increase in sales.
@WrAiTh Sp3cTr3
I dislike it, I don't hate it, you are as narrow minded as the rest if you think that.
I keep up on the news because I'd like to see improvements in the series. I miss spending hours with friends, but the flaws that have been present for the last few years really put me off.
@da_2pacalypse
Oh look it's that "full of PS3 fanboys" line again. If that was so wouldn't you find this site full of XBOX hate articles?
If fact I would say it's quite the opposite.
Yes we are all gamers here and there is no harm in correcting a comment if it's believed to be incorrect.
@trikster40
Easy tiger, you should know the Playstation brand is irrelevant when it comes to features round here.
But otherwise you are correct.
So what would you prefer, a CoD fawning fest? Don't make me puke.
I'd rather see both sides of a discussion than that.
A positive article for the Vita? Who are you and what have you done with the real N4G?
And that kind of comment is part of the problem with CoD. People who genuinely dislike CoD will not and do not buy it, it's not a crime. Also, they will not remain silent to keep people like you happy, CoD is not the greatest game ever and if it makes you feel a little better it's not the worst either.
It's getting tiresome that someone with a negative opinion has to be stigmatized as a 'hater'. Seriously is this site full of school children?
If thats true it's only half fake. In other words there'll be a COD something in november 2012
@objective. Considering the price difference between the iPad and the DS, to introduce someone to gaming? You sir,have more money than sense, have shares in Apple, believe the media or all of the above.
The guy doesn't deserve to be in business and from more recent interviews shows that he really hasn't learnt a valuable lesson, but to threaten his family is a step too far.
What should be next for handhelds?
How about less abuse from the media. Handhelds are dead because of the chuffin iPhone? The 3DS is suggesting otherwise and the Vita has only been released in one country.
