Ah! The old childhood memories, sat playing pong and thinking things can't get any better than this.
Nice read, and funny.
At the disagrees: Microsoft really cannot do anything wrong in your eyes can they?
Bah! I don't want predictions, I want confirmation.
Interesting. That would make Microsoft somewhat responsible for allowing it to be so easy.
Solid state is a fantastic idea, but way too expensive right now, especially when you factor in what Microsoft did with hard drives on the 360. It's costs more for a 60GB SSD than a 1TB HDD.
They missed out more RAM, that's mostly what developers have been crying out for.
I don't think my tiny little mind can take any more, not only is my most anticipated hardware of 2012 being touted as DOA but it could be saved by non other than Call of Duty, kill me now!
I'm not on Live, but from what you are saying it sounds like you get phishing messages through Live, is that right? If so surely this is something that should be filtered out by MS, after all not everybody is clued up on these kind of scams.
If I've read wrong then please ignore me.
I'm sensing you don't like it, can't quite put my finger on why.
Just food for thought, especially seen as I've noticed some selling figures getting rounded down. Besides, it's a single country out of 100s and yes it's pricey, but a good price for what you get. Who knows, maybe Sony did anticipate these kind of sales, early adopters were stung by Nintendo after all.
All I know is it's way too soon for so much negativity.
BTW, I got the sarcasm.
Here we go again!, the media tells me it's doomed, so like a good little zombie I'll not get one. Yeah right! I know what I like and I like what I see, so doom away, these ears are unaffected.
On topic, isn't it possible that pretty much all of the 500,000 shipped have been sold? Just a thought. As for the PSP, well, it's still very popular in Japan, and cheaper.
Didn't we get these stories with PS3? And who can forget the recent 3DS is de...
That's no proof against hacking, if I recall the whole PSN hack started via an insider. No reason why the same thing couldn't happen to Live. Yes, they went big on PSN because it was kids on a revenge mission.
In the real world, criminals go small at a time because there is less risk of getting caught. 5000 accounts is less than 0.010% of the Live population, barely a scratch.
In no way am I saying this is what is happening, just trying to point out t...
Or a good hard kick in the nuts, assuming of course they have some.
What the chuff has CoD got to do with it? If you want to go there though, it costs $40m to $50m to produce a CoD title apparently, and we'd all agree that probably doesn't include R&D so £4.1m isn't all that. Additionally, every year we get the usual Treyarch or IW staffing up for the next CoD.
I'm not knocking MM, I'm a massive fan, just thought this news was a little underwhelming. You should visit their website and read some of their history, t...
This kind of behaviour is normal for game development, maybe I should have a lobotomy so I could be more surprised at normal things.
Didn't we already know that MM were working on a new IP and they'd left LBP Vita to another studio.
Seriously, just chuff off now!
The same old 'Apple are gonna take over the world' opinion?
Ok, you are entitled but I strongly disagree, with every fibre of my being.
Pointless article.
How about you earn more xp for the harder to use weapons that way you get rewarded for skill.
At the moment CoD rewards everything, even death. Let's reward skill for a change. They won't have to nerf the weapons then.
I agree, do away with scores. I prefer reading the pros and cons so I can make up my own mind.
Take a look at your average FPS, all of which seem to score between 8.0 and 9.5 out of 10, when you delve into the reviews for these games you start to see some very disappointing comments, such as, the story is too short, too clichéd, disappointing ending, glaring faults with multiplayer and so on. Yet they still get a high score. I remember when a 7 was considered a good scor...
