i know there are legit reasons, it was meant in jest, considering the timed exclusivity deals between Microsoft and Activision.
I'd be interested to know how much market research Nintendo did, if any.
Obviously the userbase Nintendo portrays in their advertising aren't going give a crap about an extra circle pad, so why this soon after launch unless they feel threatened by the Vita?
It sounds absurd, but it almost makes you wonder whether Microsoft has timed exclusive on patches.
I like the way somebody disagrees to an emotional response that I have no control over.
The words 'end' and 'bell' spring to mind and not necessarily in that order.
Like Cap Qwark said, I wasn't even aware of this till the demo. I was expecting a run of the mill Indy title, but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely going on the probably buy list.
It doesn't mention anything about dev kits, at it's most basic the quote translates as 'this is the door to our R+D department'.
Jumping to conclusions? It could easily mean they are developing engines to run on current PC tech, which could then be translated to consoles as and when required.
We can only speculate that they are doing something special with San Andreas.
Too true, and they claim DRM is to combat piracy.
That's a bag full of irony right there.
Some impressive sniping there, but quickscoping doesn't deserve to be highlighted.
Targeted at kids? The average gamer is a 37 year old male, wouldn't make sense to solely target kids now would it?
Suffering from a bad case of no imagination are you?
It's a sad truth that publishers are pushing these titles out the door to get the money in sooner rather than later, they all want money quick and often.
My heart goes out to the developers who more often than not get all the grief from the end users for doing what they can in the little time they are given. I'm certain almost all the developers now are still doing there job for the love of it, all we can hope for is that the best can find a way to break the back of t...
@EVIL
I don't think you even realise how biased and blinded you are, Sometimes, and I do actually mean sometimes you have a valid point but you spin it with so much self importance that you create a troll like persona that is extremely difficult to take seriously, whether that is intentional or not only you know.
Maybe if you lay off ranting like a rabid fanboy you wouldn't get the replies that you do.
Now, go ahead and reply in that...
@EVIL
How short is your memory? Don't you remember the media and 360 fans kicking the crap out of the PS3 in 2006 for exactly the same reasons?
What am I saying? You don't actually care do you? I imagine you sit there cradling your 360 in one hand whilst typing with the other.
Whilst I don't find the inclusion of voice recognition in ME3 appealing I do find the feeble excuse highly irritating.
It's seems there is a trend emerging with developers and publishers to find excuses to hide deals between themselves and console manufacturers, why? We know it happens and when they try to bulls**t us with what they consider a clever excuse, it just makes them appear pathetic and untrustworthy.That may sound a little excessive, but they are giving the...
As I've mentioned above, Sony's voice recognition SDK supports 20 languages, so there is absolutely no reason it cannot be done.
@Il_Exile_lI
Have you not heard of PSVR? It is a voice recognition SDK for Playstation with libraries that support 20 languages. Looks like Sony have already done the hard work which would put the Playstation voice recognition on a par with Kinect, all you need is a £20 eye or £15 headset.
Won't use it, so no 3G for me.
When you factor in the reputation of SCEE it's entirely plausable, but I agree it's not irrefutable proof.
