As I've stated below, look up when R&D started on Move before making claims like that.
Please don't act like Microsoft are the tech centre of the universe, they're guilty of more copying than you'd possibly be aware of, just look at internet explorer for a taster.
Before making statements about one company copying another you may want to do some research first.
I dare you to look up when R&D started on Wii and Move, you'll be surprised.
As for trophies, what do you expect a company to do when your userbase is screaming for them?
As a Sony fan I have to say it doesn't interest me.
By the way, they can't copy Kinect due to patents, so for better or worse it will be different.
Sounds like he's suggesting that consoles should become upgradeable. Why didn't he just come out with it and say that everyone should own a gaming PC?
Look up PSVR. This will be the third time I have mentioned it on this article, fifth time on this site. The devs won't have to do any more work than they would with Kinect,
Just because Sony don't shout it from the rooftops doesn't mean it's non existent.
@nitrowolf2
Sony has already coded a voice recognition library that supports 20 languages, so there'd be no less coding on the PS3 than the 360.
See the link in my previous post.
@mcstorm
Sony has already done the hard work.

PSeye has four microphones.
While the CoD fans keep handing over the cash they aint gonna do jack!
The article had chuff all to do with sales, or how the US dominates everything. It was a personal opinion on what each console offers him.
Sales are for shareholders not consumers.
@JayD-1K
Home has never been compulsory, and only features if you download it.
Sony created trophies because the userbase wanted them, if it was all about keeping up with the competition we'd have avatars akin to Microsoft and Nintendo.
A new UI is an effective substitute for a new system? What?
And as for the ten year cycle, if history is anything to learn from then they are not going to wait the full ten years to release new hardware. The author really didn't think too hard before writing.
The media really are trying to exploit every angle to bash the Vita.
Here's one for free - Vita has no Mario games - knock yourselves out with that diamond.
I would agree that they rely too much on Mario, which was ok when I was a pre-teen in the early 80s, but 201 titles featuring Mario since 1981 can get a little irritating.
I hope they don't push 3D too hard on any of the new consoles, there are those of us that can't view 3D for more than five minutes without a headache and dizziness.
Before anybody jumps on my back, I'm not going off 3DS experience because I haven't tried one.
So, going off of comments on this article, lower brightness equals better graphics.
*Turns down brightness on monitor* No it doesn't.
I'll take PC and console gaming thanks.
YouTube is a valuable resource when it comes to making an informed decision whether to purchase a game or not, although I can see it being an issue for developers and publishers if they have made a bad game.
Seriously some people need help, it's only a bit of fun.
So let me get this straight, you say that Sony "copying" (and improving) on the motion controller is cheap, but Microsoft copying and improving (let's be real here) controllerless motion sensing is a stroke of genius?
Yeah, makes a whole lot of sense.
