well Half life 2 is number two so I'm happy cause HL2 started the whole facial animation thing. if you notice Alyx makes faces during real-time game play and not just cut scenes.
L.A. Noire has tremendous use of facial anime like detective work which sounds cool.

your right....especially when the company (Crytek) turns it's back on the PC community by making a DX9 console port to "sale 10 million units" on the console but so far trails Homefront which has barely 1.5 million units sold.

every time i have $300 for a ps3 i end up buying PC parts. there are many levels of PC gaming and PC Gaming is my extreme hobby. So instead of buying a PS3 i end up taking my hobby to another level and it has paid off wonderfully.
Gaming isn't Gaming until it's on 3 screens and in 3D.
inFamous 2 looks really good and when it comes out I'm gonna go next door and play it on my neighbors PS3 like i do all PS3 exclusives. 8 hours later i beat the game then i go back home and enjoy my PC games.

YES! watch the trailer and look at the scopes on the guns. you will notice that the world is being reflected in the scope.
you can see what is behind you in the scope. the image is not pre-rendered but in real time. also I notice some in the glass of the vehicles and the paint as images were reflected off of those surfaces.
the consoles are suppose to have this as well or maybe real time radiosity as that is easier on the GPU where as Ray Tracing requires...

Now that the Shock n Awe of BF3 has worn off a bit (I only Jizzed twice instead of three times). I do have some complaints.
Hopefully this is still Alpha so these things will be fixed.

You do realize that PC's are capable of doing more things at once and faster than a console yet PC's do not even require 8GB of RAM?
even during heavy video authoring/editing i do very well on my 6GB of ram even while I'm on the Internet, video chatting, and playing a movie all on separate screens.
so therefore a console which doesn't multi-task and has less functions than a Blackberry or iPhone doesn't need 8GB of ram period.

minus any multi-tasking consoles only need 1gb or 1.5gb system ram and 1gb video ram.
I've played Crysis 2 on a PC with 3gb system ram that had an integrated video card (HD4290) sharing the 3gb and Crysis 2 ran just fine, almost as good as on my system. C2 has NO DX10 or DX11 so the system requirements are bloated.

Vindictus needs to take out a bank lone and start advertising this game. It has some minor flaws but overall it's pretty dam fun.
