those 2 million in sales are the result of Digital Downloads by PC Gamers. I have searched high and Low for sales numbers but all of them point to 500K for retail across PS3 360 PC and 2 million DD for the PC.
i remember TWII hitting 1 million in sales while the 360 and PS3 numbers were under 200k combined and this was before the US Release. After the US release TWII hit 2 million and still the PS3 and 360 numbers were low so DD is all that is left.
2.5 million is a good amount for a game with limited or ZERO advertisement.
Also from all the stats i could find I'm showing 500K retail sales which included PS3 360 PC and around 2 million Digital Distribution which is....you guessed it, the PC.

I think because some gamers are starting to realize that they bought the same game 3 times for $60 each and nothing really changed. COD has shit game play. sure opinions may differ and those that enjoy the casual/arcade experience of COD will not like the Core style of BF.
