well It's a high end premium card so they will use the Vapor Chamber which will cut down on the heat dramatically but the fan is gonna make a ton of noise.
which is why companies need to make more affordable water block models. I've been on air forever but now I'm looking to go Liquid.
Water cooling takes the noise and heat right out the equation therefore MAX Performance and Watt use is the only concern.
Asus Mars II = $1100 minimum....which is too steep for my pockets.
a 580 GTX SLI set-up is $1000 maybe $900 if you can catch a sale.
HD6990 and 590GTX do a fine job of handling everything tossed at them and they should seeing how they go $750 a piece.
My 560ti GTX SLI set-up ($540) can get me 30 FPS MAX settings across 3 screens at 1600P and over 45fps at 1080p so The Asus Mars II better hit 80 fps minimum to justify $1100

Hey if a game is great guess what? Your gonna want a sequel. Gamers tend to enjoy the character story environment game play etc so they want more!
As long as each game in the series is made very well and evolves the story character and game play then who cares what the number after it is. Sure New IP's are always welcomed and if they are good then BAM another sequel please.

i like how back in the day EVERYBODY showed their new games during E3! every 2 hours a new hot title would be shown that would blow your minds as Devs/Pubs tried to one up each other. So many awesome trailers, first peak, and full games on display that E3 use to be one big Jizz fest.
now too many DEv/Pubs skip E3, hold their own day and this all takes away from the Huge attention and attraction that E3 use to be back in the day.

Gears 3 is what the 360 is all about and it looks very much improved over G1 and G2. Makes me wish this was coming to the PC.

Actually our military soldiers have better body armor than any other military but the Virtual training that these simulators provide helps soldiers avoid being shot all together!
When you can have an area memorized like the back of your hand before your boots hit the ground...it really helps.

If the Publisher is dedicated to the Dev time and has the cash to back the game and the Developer has the idea and the skills to produce quality then making a AAA game is not hard. You go from AAA to C real quick when a Publisher pushes up release slots or slashes the budget or Developers lack the AAA skill.
