the reason prices are so high in Australia...is the disc for the games are replicated in the U.S. then shipped around the world. Not a ton of gamers in Australia and other places so gaming is still considered a luxury item so therefore the high prices.
Once more people are able to afford these items the prices will drop. Also other factors influence price like Sales TAX and Import Tax also if an "outside" company gets Taxed just to do business inside another count...
I think it's about time something like this came to these "supposedly" next-gen consoles. uDraw would be a way to offer a ton of educational games for the younger gamers out there (and some of you idiots) between COD marathons.
Sure wii and especially V-tech have a lot but many younger kids are shying away from those systems for the bright lights and big explosions of the PS3 and 360.
Video-Gaming style education really helps kids learn fast...
Next time someone is bragging about "Animation" it would be nice to supply VIDEO so we can see for ourselves.
Nintendo has Mario Zelda and Metroid and yes Sony has a ton of exclusives but it's only a short time (like next Gen) and Sony's Exclusives will shrink dramatically.
Case in point look at Killzone 3 sales figures, who has Socom 4, MAG vs. COD, Kojima is done with exclusives (MGS Risen PC 360 PS3) etc. etc.
Devs are making these "multi-plat engines" so they can crank out 3 versions of a game for almost the same dollar amount as one version...
I agree Fatal1ty should be added to this list. He is the pioneer and has been the world wide number 1 Champion in 5 different games.

Ok I'm looking at these screen shots and the whole time I'm thinking "Mass Effect" BUT a low end imitation. Sure graphics aren't everything but come on pump up the volume.

I'm sure they are only talking about how in Crysis (for all of you who never played it) you push a button and a wheel pops up allowing you to quickly change the function of your nanosuit (i.e. speed-strength-invisible etc.) thus changing how you play the game at any moment on the fly.
Also you can do this with weapons. So Skyrim may allow you you to approach a situation and switch swords, battle stands, armor, spells, etc on the fly to defeat different enemies using you...
well it's the end of exclusives as we know it cause everyone is on the Multi-plat bandwagon.
Make one engine that will easily port to PC 360 PS3 Wii2 instead of maximizing the strengths of each individual system for kick ass Gaming.
And the crowd goes Booooo! No More multi-plats! No more Multi-plats!

PC Gamer.com received the same stuff like a while ago but it was quickly determined that it was Sega promoting their new Alien game as everyone chimed in on the thread along with the editors to figure it out.
