So far Far Cry 3 looks to be a lot better than that mess FC2.
Would like to know what Game Engine it is using. I didn't like FC2 at all but the Dunia Engine was nice.
Lots of cool games but they all instantly became kiddie shite after that impressive Live Demo of BF3 PC. Felt like watching Shock n Awe all over again on CNN.
David Jaffe didn't even wanna show Twisted Metal after drooling over the BF3 footage. It's OK David TM still looks awesome!

May check it out for the pure fact it's using the Frostbite 2.0 Engine. One of the best looking games so far at E3.
...and after watching that crap if I was Sony I would just come out and say it "Hey CORE gamers if you want Core games then go buy a PS3". Gears3 was HOT and very impressive.
Looking forward to seeing Agent Uncharted 3 and God of War 4. Twisted Metal looks great.

Just saw the Live Demo of Battlefield 3 PC and it was beyond epic. I jizzed my pants twice. I'm spent.
Mass Effect 3 (3rd person shooter), Kingdoms of Amular, Skyrim all had me excited until the BF3 Demo now everything else is kiddie shite!
P.S. BF3 real time graphics look better than most games CGI trailers (looking at you Star Wars Halo 4).

If you make a game and the first thing you show is a CGi trailer then that's a sign that you have no confidence in your product so then why should I buy it?
We are at the point in Game Tech where most Game engines look almost as good as CGI anyway. Besides I'm spending money on the game not your CGI skills.

you would have to buy a a new console every year.
the first one would cost $2000 and only play SP games.
then next year buy another one for $1999.99 but it would have new features like MP games.
then the year after that buy another one for $2200 but it would play MP and SP games and come with a bigger HDD and fancy colors.
pretty standard stuff until they started talking about ray tracing but unfortunately it was only the Avatars.
can't wait for real time ray tracing rendering.
Maybe it's just me but....i'm disappointed in this game.
Very happy about the melee combat (although they added guns) the graphics look OK...I'm sure they will improve but the game mechanics look clunky to me with a bunch of "gopher" missions.
I would be better if they just dropped you there in an open world sandbox style and you had to explore and figure how to survive and get off the island instead of "gopher mission".

Seems like the 2 or 3 reviewers that gave The Witcher 2 a low score were doing it just for the publicity. The Witcher 2 has been getting 9/10 9.5/10 90/100 A/A 5/5 4.5/5 5/6 95/100 scores.
