I always felt Battlefield was more than a shooter cause the game feels like all out WAR with all the vehicles weapons teamwork and strategy.
Way Too many Devs/Pubs have "Dumbed" their games down in hopes of COD numbers but are finding out that "we have COD for COD type game play".
Devs/Pubs need to make shooters more complicated, more FPS hybrids like STALKER FPS/RPG or Nuclear Dawn FPS/RTS or Portal FPS/Puzzler or HL2 FPS/Physics.

soon as he started talking about "issues getting some games to run with certain drivers or OS" he lost all respect.
He is right about the online community. every old game that i have fired up in MP mode had a nice community going.

looks very good in some parts then looks OK in others. Honestly it's NOT too far ahead of Arma II with the ACE MOD 2.....
Which means Arma 3 is gonna Kill the CryEngine 3
Doom II and Contra are not hard. Those were two games I use to beat just to pass the time.
Gaiares on the Mega Drive and Legendary Axe on the PC Engine now those were hard.
Using The Tau Race in Dawn of War is hard (well for me it is)

actually I never noticed it. I have Steam set to download crap while I'm sleep or at work so I never noticed it.
any other game I would pitch a fit but since this game is so dam good....F-it no big deal!
sure it fixes a lot of problems and even pumps up the volume on the graphics but over all it still plays like a REALLY GENERIC version of GTA.
The shooting is still HORRIBLE
the driving physics are still HORRIBLE
no boats no planes no tanks no helicopters no scooters no skateboards no etc. but just a few vans, Toyota Prius, suburbans, Generic hotrods, Camry's, and Ambulance.
The overall Mechanics are still "clunky" and afte...

Super Nice CGI trailer got everybody really hyped up including myself
saw the actual game play a while back and BOY was I disappointed. The Game play is really clunky and seems more of a chore than fun
I think a lot of people forget that MW3 trailer was a bunch of cut scenes while BF3 trailer was the game running in real time. With that being said No need to compare cut scenes to Real Time rendering.
Sure the BF3 building collapse may be a set piece but DICE has said buildings will fall down in real time. Meanwhile MW3 is all cut scenes and set pieces with the same graphics as MW1 during game play.
Other than that they both are Modern Warefare titles so...
I don't know man.....they almost looks exactly the same to me except the BF2 pictures were taken during a dust storm in drought season while the BF3 pictures were taken on a sunny day.
or.....the BF2 pics were after 48 hours of round the clock Napalming and carpet bombing while the BF3 pics were after 48 hours of a Home and garden convention.
Jokes aside the progression in graphics is amazing as BF2 in 2005 was cutting edge and now Dice looks to push ...
