remember the PC DVD rom can come with compressed data. the cpu can decompress and install the game at the same time.
If the Dev feels like too much compression is a risk then yeah it could come on two disc but who the hell buys those. Steam directly to my HDD! then eventually I'll burn a back up copy.
I can't remember a PC game coming on 2 disc since the switch over to DVD rom...

I can see MOH every two years but BF will be BF3 in 2011 and then some huge expansion pak in 2012 then most likely Bad Company 3 in 2013 or Vice Versa.
BF2 went 6 years between a new game because of the huge size of the community and the large amount of content.
I think Activision should make a new IP and let COD rest for like 3 years while they make a Kick ass game engine and take COD back to it's glory days of COD1 and COD2 play style.
We have yet to see the sea vessels, Helicopters, Planes, and tanks all in action during MP which is what makes BF so gosh darn special and yet just watching the MP infantry missions put COD to shame.

Very excited about Metro Last Light as Metro 2033 was one of the Best looking PC Games ever and a enjoyable gaming experience. Hopefully 4A Games improves upon the power of the 4A Engine and enhances the game play which so far seems like they have!

Nintendo controllers always hurt my hands for some reason. The Wiiu controller seems like the standards format but just that your hands will be wider apart than normal.

Now since Xbox 360 will no longer be getting Dust 514 i have a really good feeling that all that 360 code will be turned into PC code for PC players.....or CCP will make some kind of generic shooter for the 360.
many PC Gamers and Eve Online community are demanding Dust 514 for the PC. trust me it's gonna happen.....especially if Black Prophecy is as good as it looks as many Eve Players will "jump ship" for that when it's released.

Core 2 Duo and 8800gt are still FAR superior to any console today as those were the hot chips back in 2005-2006. Carmack didn't start Rage until after the ID tech 5 Demo first shown June 11, 2007, at Apple's WWDC, Crysis was released 5 months later in November which still looks better than any console game.

if it's a TV then yes good price, almost a steal. I would use it as a monitor plus having TV option would be AWESOME or it would great in a Dorm room or Bedroom. 24" is a good size in a small room.
If it's JUST a monitor HELL NO! For $500 I would get a 32" LED monitor and say ...
1. everybody plays on the same server (unlike WOW which has different realms/servers).
2. everything you do effects the game and players.
3. You have to make ISK (Eve money) to buy a ship upgrades etc.
4. you fly around space doing whatever you need to do to make ISK, Robbing, stealing, killing, making stuff, fixing stuff, selling stuff, protecting other rich gamers freighters etc.
5. You can join a Corporation and get a job which most gamers do and partake...
