I think B.I. is doing this to bring more attention to their awesome Arma series. They are currently working on Arma 3 which so far looks to crush weak PC's.
I think this is a good idea to get gamers not familiar with Arma a chance to play the MilSim FPS. When it comes to first person military shooters Battlefield Arma and Red Orchestra are the best!

just look for the MLAA and it's tell tale sign of blur to eliminate jaggies. Look at the textures, animation, colors, grass (ps3 does horrible grass lol) draw distance etc.
Many different ways to tell a PS3 game from the PC or 360 with out looking under the desk.
Make sure that laptop can run Battlefield 3 maxed out. I'm just saying!
Now that it has been cleared up that this is a HDTV and NOT a monitor I must say this is the best deal going (Except the 46" Sony Bravia I seen the other day for $599 cause the back was scratched up) anyway I just might have to get me one of these.
I think my desk has enough room for a 4th monitor.
And the European Developers have passed the Western Devs as far as Quality and Innovation in video games.
DICE, CD Projekt Red, CCP, 4A Games, GSC, Bohemia Interactive and many many more. Euro Devs are the best Devs right now. I think Valve was the last American Dev i bought a game from.
The PC footage is not useless to console owners. If anything it should motivate you to get a good Gaming PC to enjoy BF3 in all it's glory.
Remember BF3 is a PC game and DICE will show the console footage when the game is done. I'm sure BF3 console will look better than BC2 which looked very nice on console.
it's good to see AMD bring back the FX which was their high performance label. AMD is a great chip maker with really affordable prices as I have had plenty of them in my time.
But unfortunately bout time AMD releases Bulldozer I'll be looking to upgrade my Core i5 2500k to 2600k or socket 2011. AMD has to move quicker if they want to really "act like" they are competing with Intel.
Very nice review as I'm looking forward to playing Black Prophecy. Eve is cool but I just like the fact BP has twitch space combat which is a break from the Strategy and tactics of Eve.
Jets only on Conquest mode is pretty standard.
Conquest mode is what separates BF from all other games anyway. It's the super Huge maps and the actual tactics and feel of full scale war. Rush and TDM and other modes were tossed in as a way to provide an all around experience.

For me i understand Kinect broadens M$ market and makes them easy money but M$ has completely abandoned the core audience. It's all up to third party Devs to keep the Core 360 gamers happy.
and that's why i call that store "Worst Buy".

PSVita is hot and Sony showed a bunch of Exclusives we already new about. Holiday 2011 looks to be in Sony's favor.
One bad thing was Jack Trenton letting it slip that Agent may no longer be a PS3 Exclusive. This happened in an interview with Geoff Keighly.
Well they showed Gears3 which looks great. Seems the crowd already new about Halo 4 from M$ website leak. Halo HD got the crowd happy.
Way too much Kinect and way way too much Peter Molyneux. "Fable Journey is not on rails, I swear" OK whatever you say......seems Pete is back on the wagon.
The only thing I didn't get was when the EA guy said "At EA we do things a little different, we don't hold private screenings of our games for C list entertainers" and the crowd laughed.

Battlefield 3 was king of E3!
How about releasing Rage in July cause that's a really weak month for games.
October is a better month anyway as September has Gears3, WarHammer 40K Space Marine, Resistance 3.
So this is a smart move to release at the beginning of October but stay away from Battlefield 3 cause once Oct 25th hits...it's over!
