Yeah it was a bad time to release it and they could of waited until at least May and there's just so many games that are coming out. If anything I'm struggling to keep up with finishing Rebirth, P3 Reload and Granblue let alone all the others I want to play.
Sounds exactly what Tales did with Arise. I enjoyed FF16 more than FF13 and FF15 personally. I just hope the next mainline entry Yoshida makes is more party RPG based.
Namco deserves their drop in profits. Besides Dragon Ball and Tekken they make bugger all effort in anything else.
Enjoyed playing some games on arcade before it came over here when I visited years ago. Makes me hope they can do Lord of Vermillion on console.

Yeah MIke Ybarra was working for MS for years. Yeah PS and Nintendo produced bangers for years. MS hasn't produced much in years that has been decent. Only game I had interest in was Hi-Fi Rush which is on all platforms now.
God idk why these journalists have articles about this. I think this is a blessing especially everything been so PC these days. Longs the game is good and they allow developers to have their full vision for the game.
I wouldn't mind a new FF Tactics longs they keep the tactical elements of Tactics in it as well as a very in depth story. Which FF Tactics years ago has by far one of the best stories in the series.
They could throw as much money as they want they will never get huge success. But they might prove us wrong. Thing is if it was any other company they would be long gone. Personally MS would benefit better off as a full third party publisher like Sega.
This sounds like it's another paid article. But the PS stuff is already known and clear that it work on putting games on PC and mobile. Nintendo in other ways with theme park and movies.
Sony and Nintendo will still be keeping most of their games console exclusive to keep the value on their consoles. Xbox failed at this with putting it on PC day one as well as the effects of Gamepass and has needed to port to other platforms recently.
Hope they start using some PS1/PS2 Sony JP IP Games again. Fix the classics games/emulator on PSN for PS4/PS5 and put an effort of putting some games such as Xenogears and Xenosaga which wasn't released in EU/Oceania back in the PS1/PS2 days.
MS has been a disorganized mess and I see it's hasn't changed.
It's hard to say if it will become more successful than the PS2. I know it will do very well overall. As a gamer I can't keep up with all the stuff releasing this year
We'll see regardless of if it's a release or a gamepass release I don't see it selling much on Xbox despite some cash from MS. Would like some more secret bosses with different attack patterns and some minigames. Since late game there's not much of that.
Bad idea. Kind of at the point its almost like a repeat of FFXI on the 360 with it requiring Gold to play.

That's what they'll do Persona 3 Reload: The Complete Edition. I'm glad I got standard P3 Reload as a present. Not putting anymore dollars in this DLC.
I remember there were free DLC characters for Tekken Tag 2. After Tekken 7 it all changed. But hopefully Harada does do free characters DLC again.

It will be the same case as with FF7 Remake. It will drop on PC sometime after the PS timed exclusivity is up. The recent news of it being a PlayStation console exclusive is highly likely true with lots of Sony people had a hand in support the development of these titles. Which is shown in the credits of those titles which other Square multiplatform titles don't.
