While Xbox Series S was good cost wise it suffered by holding back the potential of Series X. Which made it difficult for some developers.
MS struggled to innovate game wise after the end of the 360 generation. Xbox One policies they shot themselves in the foot as well as being inconsistent with the goals.
Too many interviews and full big mouths they always been like it. Words never match with the goals in mind.
I think being a third ...
Yeah Concord so far is not looking good player wise. Overshadowed by other shooters similar as well as Black Myth Wukong.
People are tired of the whole diversity/LGBT thing. I just accept people no matter who they are longs they don't anger me I dont care. Everyone is different.
I see Marathon will still be on Xbox since it's part of the acquisition agreement between Bungie and Sony. Unless Xbox is not in the market.
Simple upper managers want more money for their shareholders. Upper management has took control since Spencer hasn't done well with Xbox Consoles since he tried to clean up Mattricks mess.
It's not Xbox Gaming now but MS Gaming like a few others have said.
Well I don't see it doing well. I was surprised it been that long in development. I think only in 2020-2021 Sony started a partnership with the studio
Bobby sold because he wanted a big payout. Even though he has heaps of money.
It used to have a stake in Square years ago but Sony sold it off after what happened in the 360 exclusive/timed exclusive years. Yeah well with what rumors being going around I see it being on Xbox next year. Seeing if people will buy it is another story.
Last thing we want is video games becoming like TV and movies. It's already becoming like it Western society isn't helping.
People were disappointed in FF13 and FF15 had heaps of development issues with engine changes. Well as long term development issues. FF16 and FF7 Remake was better in that department. FFXVI did fine but there's demand in a PC version.
FFXVI won't get much sales for a Xbox version Square will just take a MS paycheck. The effect of Gamepass stops Xbox players buying many games.
Crisis Core Reunion sales were only like 6% on Xbox compared to other c...
Well Crisis Core Reunion did and it didn't do well because Xbox players didn't support the developers by buying games.
This is a relief that Tango Gameworks is going to live there's some talent there and personally one of the only studios from MS that I cared about.
It's not just about that it's what resources PS helped with and the payoff of it if they did it themselves which Sony had a big hand in FF7 Remake series,FF16 and some in Valkyrie Elysium.
Yeah I remember Shinra Technologies that Jacob was part of which is a company that had heaps of losses that lasted 2 years alongside that mess that was Yoichi Wada which is a whole another story it was Squares dark days they really went downhill when Wada was president. I mean Square has ne...
We know your side of things.
1)FF7 and FF16 have done fine. Square always has unrealistic expectations. Sales problem for those 2 is FF13 and FF15 being disappointments. They got lots of sales but they used 2 engines the costs for those were colossal. FF7 and FF16 were better managed engine wise in that department. I agree releasing FF7 as a part series did put people off.
2.)They'll have legs in the long run and FF16 PC edition isn't far for FF16 they also...
Personally Phantom Blade Zero looks more like my cup of tea.
Yeah I can understand that. Namco is lazy finding a good developer fit for the anime games it makes besides DBZ. Naruto games have been the same since Storm on PS3.
The damage was done with the Xbox One reveal. Phil Spencer never delivered on the first party front. Some of the results from the last conference was better. It was like Steve Jobs said MS is like McDonalds.
Xbox Game Pass sounded like a good idea since MS have the money to do things like that which other companies its not financially viable. But it also got people on Gamepass not wanting to buy games so that decreased game sales so to get the sales MS has had to put some g...
They turned online into a pay game for consoles and the gaming business isn't what it used to be since. They had potential in the early days with their unique games. MS gone into the console business because they saw Sony's success. Third party is a better way to go for MS and makes better financial sense for them.
That's pretty much the case the words never match with their actions with Microsoft. Well it's one of those things it will depend on how well Hellblade 2 does. Even their founder left recently but he was planning on leaving from the sounds of it.
Well I forgot the last one they attended. So yeah lol. As usual it's something for someone to talk about
Well Nintendo and Squaresoft is where he started. I totally understand why he doesn't want to do FF now. If so I'm happy for either a remaster of Last Story or a new entry/spiritual successor. Loved the battle system of Last Story.
