I have friend on my list who has a running tally in his comment about how many freezes he has encountered while playing Fallout: New Vegas. That number is climbing every day. Just saying...

Edit: He was up to 17 freezes when last I looked. I am glad you have not encountered as many yourself. Truth be told, I have found the news of freezing a bit off-putting. I plan to buy it myself, but I have been hesitant.

I read that 59% of Black Ops sales were on the Xbox 360. That would put the Xbox 360 figure somewhere around 3.3 million. What point were you trying to prove again?

Edit: I am afraid I do not have a non-Vgchartz source, so feel free to take my reply with a grain of salt. That being said however, 59% seems to be a reasonable estimation considering the marketing push for the Xbox 360 version of the game. It is also worth noting that FPS games generally sell better on the Xbox 3...

It does not unlock the WaW maps. I would not worry though. It stands to reason that those maps will be made available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace at some point, with a price of course.

It would not be practical to limit the maps to only collector's edition purchasers. They would not have as many people to play with.

Call of Duty: Future Warfare. I can see it happening already.

Don't forget about the guy who throws a tantrum at the end of a match if he is on the losing team. Yes I said tantrum. That is what it is. If you are that guy, just know you sound like my 4 year old.

Edit: It should be noted that unlike the aforementioned sore losers, my 4 year old is making progress.

I am inclined to believe that actually. If it were anything other than an apple I would say it is an oversight, but a floating apple almost seems intentional.

Call of Duty is a FPS. Gran Turismo is a driving sim. One is about shooting, and the other is about driving. How could you possibly arrive at the conclusion that GT5 was delayed to "get away from the CoD release date"? They target two completely different tastes.

Granted that many people may enjoy both genres equally, but it stands to reason that people who have been waiting half a decade for GT5 would have purchased it regardless of the Black Ops release.

He will just have to pretend he did something hardcore, like jaywalking in a school zone, or carrying nail clippers on an airplane. You know, really sick stuff like that.

Sony released a firmware that enabled dual login over a year and a half ago. They leave the decision up to the individual developers though. It would be better to have a consistent solution, but you can't blame Sony for the option being absent. Treyarch has the tools necessary to implement the feature, and they chose not to.

You just described about 9 out of every 10 CoD players.

Ninja Theory took the stance of "story is more important than gameplay". They are wrong. Story is an important part of the formula, I am not going to argue against that. It is not however more important than gameplay. People play games to have fun. If people wanted a good story without gameplay they would just read a book.

People will forgive a game for having a poor story, if the game is fun to play. People are less inclined to care about the story if the game isn&...

I hate exclusive DLC personally. I don't mind games being exclusive, but if a game is released on multiple platforms then everyone who purchases the game should have access to the same content. Exclusive content is a slap in the face to half of your customers. It is like saying that one customer's money is better than another's.

Your logic is sound, but there are other reasons why a company would want to sweeten the pot on one side of the fence. For example, Dante's Inferno. On the Xbox 360 it had no real competition, but on the PS3 it was in direct competition with God of War 3. So to sweeten the deal a little, and entice people to purchase it on the PS3, EA made a "Divine Edition".

With Medal of Honor maybe EA was trying to entice PS3 owners to purchase the product because they know t...

Those are certainly examples of multiplatform games that have exclusive DLC (although the extra Dante's Inferno content is available on XBLM), but nowhere in your post did you provide any evidence that Sony paid for any of it.

A 3 year contract with Activision for timed-exclusive content is proof of payment (contracts are two way streets).

The $50 million money spent on GTAIV DLC is proof of payment.

Nowhere in any of your examples is the...

I can appreciate a hard campaign, but grenade spamming is not the way to achieve it. That just makes the experience frustrating. There are other ways to achieve difficulty. Lower health, lower ammo, no health regen, etc.
