You've a lot of time on your hands.
I'm skeptical. They haven't made a great game since KZ2. Hope it's great of course.
Because FB is such a mighty gaming corporation...
If this and GT work out well with VR that's me sold on it. Being "in" the cockpit would be awesome.
A top class racing game that uses VR would have me sold. Being essentially "in the car" and being able to look behind, etc. would be awesome. Applies to any game with a cockpit element I guess.
They could just make multiplat software. They would make a killing releasing their games for all the consoles and PC.
"Wait till Uncharted 4 is out then make all the comparisons you want." - this dude gets it.
Oh ffs. All MS have done is got it back to what it should have been in the first place i.e. a gaming console, first and foremost. The PS4 is still more powerful, multiplats play better, Sony have a lot of great first party studios (which arguably helped them outsell MS last gen), etc.
All MS have is cash to get exclusive third party deals, none of which are bigger than their own exclusives i.e. Halo, Gears and Forza. So in a nutshell: if their own exclusives can't beat...
They are.
A PS5 and an XboxOneTwo are inevitable. The console market is alive and well.
Finding your groove shouldn't mean releasing the same franchises over and over again. At the end of the day, they aren't attracting new fans, just existing ones who hadn't made the jump yet. MS aren't heavy on the idea of new AAA IP. They're happy to keep churning out their three well known franchises, and calling their sales a huge success.
PS4.
In a word, no.
Are people not bored of these annual franchises?
Hope they make a brand new, proper Socom game, but who will develop it? Fuck it, give it to Naughty Dog.
When Confrontation worked it was awesome. Shame they only fixed it once the majority gave up on it.
When they release the movie the numbers should go back up.
@Michael, that is not an even list. Uncharted alone stomps that X1 list.
Tits.
Microsoft announcing the Xbox One as the next water cooler certainly helped.
