I think in order to save DMC, first of all we need to get rid of this bunch of new "fans" of the game who started gaming 5 years ago and their first DMC was DMC4. CRAPCOM and Ninja Theory are trying to appeal to these casual noobs and killing the franchise as a result. I really hate it when someone comes along and praises the new DmC. These people only like it because the game has been severely dumbed down to appeal to them and the new "Donte" swears like a brat.

I have no problem with the controller. Nintendo can make the controller however they like. I agree that it is somewhat powerful but being "somewhat" powerful than a 6 or 7 year console is not enough. Look at the GPUs and CPUs that have been available for the past couple of years. Look at the game graphics, AIs and worlds that the current PCs can produce with their capabilities. I absolutely agree with you that graphics do not matter. I myself play several PSone games and have a large PSN classics on my PS3. Hell, I even play Captain Tsubasa on a NES emulator sometimes. I am an old gamer and I haev seen graphics evolving from 2d pixels to sprawling 3D worlds.

MGS4, RE5 and GT5 do not brick the console if the console gets accidentally turned off. Moreover they are not part of the console feature and just for the game. WiiU update is crucial for accessing full features of the console and may brick the console if the update process is interrupted. Since the update size is very large, it is highly likely that it will get interrupted in one way or another. It is a poor decision on Nintendo's part and cannot be justified in any way.

Nintendo needs to learn about the online component of consoles. You just cannot release a 5GB update out of nowhere without any kind of backup to restore the console in case of any mishap. Not everybody can download 5Gb within an hour. Many people will need a whole day and anything can happen between that time to brick the console.

AWESOME game. They do not make games like these anymore. I still have it on my PS3 alongwith several other PSone classics. I love the PSone era. Going to play FFIX soon.
