Yeah, you are right. The signs are already there. The game isnt even in the top 30 pre-order list on VgChartz. CAPCOM got away with Resident Evil 6 to some extent due to the brand name recognition and shooter theme but they will not get away with this game. DMC is known for its gameplay, style and Dante himself. This game lacks everything that makes a DMC game, a DMC game. Ninja Theory and CAPCOM must already be thinking excuses for the game flopping hard. LOL!

Yeah sure, as you wish. But by the time you decide that this game is bad, you already would have wasted your $60. Do people really need to waste their hard earned money to decide if a game is bad? Reviews, demos and impressions are for that purpose. To help us save our money and make the right decision before it is too late.

CAPCOM is desperately trying to build hype for this game. The more the release date nears, the lesser the hype is becoming. Nobody is talking about this game any more and even related articles have a handful of comments. This game is going to bomb hard and CAPCOM is feeling it. That is why they are trying to remind us every few days about the existence of this game by releasing videos, promoting "free" DLC and announcing pre-order bonuses.

I agree with you. At least someone is honest about issue with the Wii U and its launch. On a side note, Wii U sounds like Fxxx U in Nintendo style. I always found it funny like telling somebody to fxxx off. "Wii U man!" LOL.

CAPCOM is becoming desperate to sell this game. First free Vorgil DLC and now this ugly pendant. Maybe they will announce something related to Spordo as well. LOL! Pre-orders are miserable and not even in the top 30. Anticipation and interest in the game are very low after the demo and the sex scene revelation. This game will bomb hard.

I agree with you. 16 GB is just overkill and will only drive the cost of the console upwards. I wonder how some people demand such high specs for a console and then also want it to be under $400 at launch. I think 8 GB is more than enough and even then it will add significantly to the manufacturing cost. Maybe 4 GB will be enough and more affordable. I think Sony will especially try to keep the cost down next-gen while aiming for maximum performance within a certain cost range because the hig...

I agree with you. Actually I think bigger teams ruin a game. Smaller developer teams are more focused, dedicated and ambitious. These days I appreciate Indie games like Limbo and Journey more than the mainstream games because they do not try to appeal to the masses and bring something unique. Gaming industry has become too big for its own good. Publishers have become extremely greedy (CAPCOM comes to mind) and developers have become slaves of management instead of being creators. Every game e...

Why does she looks somewhat like Cloud from FF7 Advent Children to me???

Well, it is justice for us old Resident Evil fans. The bottomline is that the game was bad and that it underperformed. This is a good lesson for CAPCOM and I hope they will learn it. They should return to the series roots if they do not want the franchise to lose any more sales and fans. They need to stop chasing after money and their very own COD dream.

Man Nintendo fans have really been twisting words to prove that their console of choice is "next-gen". It seems like "next-gen" is some kind of abstract and philosophical concept that only Nintendo fans can grasp. :/
Next-gen is about specs since the NES till today! It is simple as that. Since the NES each each new console has been a significant leap from the previous one that is almost equivalent to the competitors console. Nintendo have been a generation behind t...

Carmack is probably right. It is up to the developers to choose if they want 720p or 1080p, 30 fps or 60 fps, best possible graphics or decent graphics. They will always have to trade off among these three areas. If they sacrifice 60 fps and 1080p then they can make the graphics even better by using the freed CPU and GPU power. That is why 60 fps and 1080p will not become a standard unless developers want them too.

I dont know why Nintendo fans and defenders do not understand the problem with Wii U. Everybody knows its weak. It can barely pump graphics equal to PS360. In a year it may be pumping graphics a little bit superior than PS360 BUT the MAIN POINT is that it is NOT competing with PS360. It is going to compete with the upcoming PS4 and XBOX 720. It is common sense that a product has to be at least somewhat equal to the offering of the competitors. The Wii was a FLUKE. I repeat it was a fluke, pur...

Not every console sells 155+ million and neither every one of them can. By that definition all other consoles released in history are failures. The second thing is that the person on top (Sony) can only come down while the person on the bottom (XBOX) can only go up. That is why the roles reversed this generation. No company can continue to increase sales infinitely. It is impossible and unrealistic to expect such a thing. Finally what the hell is this!? PS4 hasn't even been announced yet ...

LOL! That will surely get Nintendo fans to buy it in droves.
Jokes aside, third party games do not perform well on Nintendo consoles. That has been a fact for more than a decade. Third parties always regret releasing exclusive games for Nintendo console and have to release them later for Playstation. For example, Resident Evil 4, No more Heroes, Tales of Graces, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and many more. Multiplatform do not perform well too because Nintendo console owners are on...

I completely agree with you. These search results prove nothing. Even if these statistics are true, it does not provides a reason for the searches being conducted. We can use the figures from search results for PS3 to claim that PS4 will dominate next-gen because of its increasing popularity. We can also say that PS3 was able to eliminate the sales gap between both consoles despite launching a year late so it will be popular next-gen as well. Even if the search results really do mean that XBO...

Loved Onimusha, especially teh second part. Really liked doing Issens (counters) :-)
This game (DmC) is going to flop hard no matter how much the media tries to make it the best DMC game ever. It is not even in the TOP 30 pre-order list at VGChartz which shows the lack of anticipation for this game. Games which are more than a year away have more pre-orders than this. In addition to rebooting the whole story and characters, the gameplay has been severely dumbed down. It isnt deep or b...

Great news for PS360 and PC gamers! Bad news for Wii U gamers. There goes Nintendo's third party support. I think Pachter is right this time that Nintendo again wont be getting any third party support. We are seeing the signs with Dark Souls. Once PS4 and XBOX 720 are here the Wii U is a goner as far as third party support goes.
