A 4....when the game actually works (I got it for PS3) its a solid 8 for me...as I am having alot of FUN with the game.
But it does have freezing issues. And takes long to get into matches. So right now...a 4 is what I would give based on ISSUES...that can be fixed.
AS for the gfx...they look fine to me. But hey...I liked MAG also lol.
Bottom line...for me at least I ask myself...am I having fun. If I say YES...its all good.
ALso there isnt alot of KNIFING like MAG.
The amount of ppl who knifed in MAG was ridiculous.
I have been knifed maybe 3-4 times after alot of MP.
In MAG I may get knifed 3-4 times or more per match.
Im all for something fresh.
And at the same time I want a FUN game. And HOMEFRONT is fun.
I didnt have fun playing Killzone 3 and that is touted on this site at least as the Shiznit.
What homefront lacks in the looks it makes up for it in the MAPs and the weapons etc.
If they can get the freezing and waiting for getting players matched up...then they will be just fine.

Borderlands was a huge hit and a sequel is in the works.

I ended up getting the game after renting it and liking it. Seems once I paid for it...the issues started lol!!
Very good game. LArger maps...lots of options. Not really feeling the HIGH level to be reached to unlock weapons but I guess it makes you keep playing.
ANd master each weapon instead of dumping it quickly!
The freezing is annoying. Its almost like a game like this NEEDS to have a open BETA..not sure how easy that is.

The SP aspect is subjective. I havent finished it. BUt I wouldnt say it was crappy.
So far im like an hour in and I like it much better then other SP/MP games. I have YET to finish ANY SP n COD because all of them have no type of stories I can even follow or know what theheck is going on most of the time lol.

I played it last night and after learning whats what...a VERY VERY good game.
The problem on this site is everything is compared to other games.
Its like if the GFX are not on par with the TOP best looking game then the game is somehow BAD.
Homefront I am enjoying. Are the GFX great...NO. They are GOOD to FAIR. But that was the same I could say for MAG. Which I felt was a very good game.

Played it last night for a few hours.
SP...played for about an hour or so, I like it...but dont like the respawnin or whatever its called ememies. But I do feel something inside when I kill the enemy based on whats happening in the story.
Thats MORE than I can say for other SP campaigns that your shooting ppl and dont really know WHY!?

Not to be a debbie downer. But I have a feeling the best thing about this game will be the Awesome "REVERSE" Trailer. The one with the girl zombie flying out or should I say back in through the window.

I want a game with NO special zombies. A smart survival horror game. The fact this has special characters with unique abilities is kind of a turn off. ANd the special ZOMBIES ala left for dead...really?
Yeah I would have to lean towards Crytek...its like really...release a demo...make sure it actually is going to work.
The game releases in a week and I cant determine if its worth my money or rent.

I remember all the bragging about Cryengine and crysis on consoles. IMO the demo was underwhleming on the 360.
And I cant even get into a game on the PS3 version.

I feel for you as your in a age range where you maybe cant afford a HDTV.
But at the same time YOU know the 360 PS3 is a HD gaming system.
So the ppl who make articles and complain about it is the issue...at least for me it is.
Its a system made for HDTVs to get maximum performance. So why complain if you cant see so and so on inferior SDtvs??
I do feel in 2011 there shouldnt be any complaints about a game not supporting a SD tv.
Its like getting a high end sports car and putting crappy stock tires on it.
Or getting a hi end stereo system and hooking them up to your 20 year old speakers and complaining it doesnt sound good.
the PS3 and the 360 are HD gaming consoles...that although will work on a SD tv they will perform to there FULL potential on a HDTV.
I will have to say that is a VERY solid top 5 list he has there.
The one that pisses me off the MOST is the exclusion of ALL the classic SOCOM gametypes.
