actually that's KIND OF true. You do know that ALL retail models come with the latest firmware installed. so no new ps3s will detect psjailbreak(if this story's true.) That may not be defeating pirates completely but it's a big step. that means once the console you're using is banned THAT'S IT. bye bye jailbreak(again, if this is all true.)
and don't forget about the oblivious users who simply updated without knowing the contents of the update. This k...
The new voice actor was NOT apart of the "making cole more mainstream" process. They switched to full-on motion capturing for this game. Problem is the old cole was JUST a voice actor. So they had to change him. So unless you want the series to go back to original set of animations it had(which you have admit, were kind of sh!tty) the new voice stays.
personally this is a day one for me. Regardless of how he sounds. (he could like elmo for all i cared).
I really don't think that's the source of confusion here. I think I agree with Kirby3000 . Why even bring it up if it CAN'T happen? It just makes his comment seem nonsensical. That's what I think people were annoyed by, his comment just doesn't make any sense. It's like speculating whether or not Super Mario World will be re-released on PS3.
not everything boils down to the fanboy war you know
Don't pretend 360 fans didn't do the same thing with FFXIII. Or MGS and Tekken.
See, that's the truely most annoying thing about 360 fanboys. They have this delusional idea that they're any better then ps3 fanboys. They bitch and whine about things that they themselves also do.
the innocent act grts old. (I'm off my soapbox)
Truth be told, I'm not gonna prrtend to know the answer to that. It could actually cost less to print the discs, or maybe they're just deciding to take a bigger loss. Who knows. The point I was making was that sometimes it's just business. Nothing more, nothing less. There isn't always some evil intention behind the scenes.
You do make a good point though, I will admit
You're forgetting that the cost of developing games has skyrocketed. Therefore, publishers HAVE to charge more in order to break even. Not because of some conspiracy that the publisher is trying to be greedy.
It's about 55 POUNDS, not dollars (people in the UK don't even use dollars), which is actually about 90 US dollars
honestly I hope the petition works, even though I don't live in the UK.
You guys should see this.

the gameplay starts around 4:34
They only talk about playstation related stuff. Kind of like how you'd expect a site called "musicextreme.com" to only talk about music.
It's not that they are bias or anything, they just don't give a d@mn about Microsoft and their plans.
YES, that was what i was essentially getting at.(even though i failed to use the correct term.) Some people don't understand the concept of second party games.
Companies like Game Republic and Insomniac could very well make games for the 360, they just can't make games like RATCHET AND CLANK, GENJI, RESISTANCE, or other games owned by Sony for non- Sony platforms like the WII and 360. that was all I was trying to say.
but it could steal happen, I mean seeing a movie for the second time is no where near as good as seeing it the first time. besides I never said the the reaction would be negative, I said that the reaction would not be AS POSITIVE as last time.
if this does happen again, i think it'll be Versus XIII this time. Even though I sorta hope not so that it's not delayed further and that it takes full potential of the PS3. But like i said above, a multiplatform announcement would not stop me from getting this game day one.
In my opinion though, I also feel that if they tried to pull this again, the results would not be nearly as favorable. Especially since MS's console has been seriously lacking in exclusives lately. It would ...
You do realize that if Sony owns the game and/or the developer, that makes the company and/or it's games (or maybe just certain games like White Knight Cronicles) become first party.
I'll put it like this, Ninja Theory may want to make Heavenly Sword multiplatform, but since's it's Sony's game, not their's, that won't happen. Oh and Sucker Punch is also owned by Sony. Seriously dude, CHECK YOUR FACTS. just because that team has it's own name does not mean it's a different company...
SOCOM is a Sony-owned franchises, just like ratchet and God of War.
I don't know if that was sarcasm or not, but if it wasn't then you should really do some research.
EDIT: to elaborate further, Ratchet and clank is developed by a third party(Insomniac) but the IP belongs to Sony. Sony bought Zipper Interactive in 2006, which makes them first party(even though they always owned the IP). and God of War's developed by Sony themselves.
Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorites series aswell. Im also a big Nomura fan. Versus XIII is my most anticipated game this gen.
but FF13's battle system looks cool too.
did you even read the article?
when an 360 game is also on PC it's still exclusive to the 360. But when it's a PS3 exclusive that's NOT EVEN CONFIRMED TO BE ON PC, then all-of-a-sudden it's "Sony loses exclusive again".
So did the author hear 360 fanboys "running to their forums" when it happened to Gear of War? or Mass Effect? In fact, it's ironic that he even uses the word "fanboy", considering he made a fanboyish comment himself.
the funniest part is that Gran Turi...
They JUST STARTED doing this. It'd be different if they were doing this secretly back when their PR said that they didn't buy exclusive.
Technically, they were telling the truth because AT THE TIME Sony said that they didn't buy exclusives, they really didn't.
Now they've changed their minds, which is fine. Because I can't think of any company around that didn't change their principles at some point in time.
besides, at least they were honest enough to ...
you (who is obviously a fanboy), are making fun of fanboys? sigh, what a loser.
the funny thing is, you may be laughing at them, but we (the non-fanboys) are laughing at them AND YOU.
