I rotate over 5 to 6 multiple saves... so if you don't like the results or Paragon points you get out of a conversation, you can redo it. It may sound kinda blah, but the problem is that Shepard doesn't always say EXACTLY what he says on the word wheel, and you are not always sure how he will say it. On the right you'll have 3 choices, Paragon on top, Neutral Middle, and Renegade at the bottom... but on the left, sometimes you'll have additional choices, but you never really know how he wil...
That was funny.
Cell platform is completely different architecture I believe, and does not implement TPM based security measures like some PCs can.
Some Console gamers need to be informed. They may be standoff-ish about PC versions because of controls. When in fact, PC controls have come a LONGGGGG way when it comes to console-like steering of games.
PC controls can actually be MUCH better than the console. For instance, a PS3 gamer may not want a PC version of an XBOX game because the controls may be unfamiliar. When in fact, if they knew that they could play a game like ME2 successfully with a SixAxis controller, the...
They have a few more tricks up their sleeves, but they have gotten VERY tired. Limited/Timed exclusitivity, funding limited rights on Expensive DLC, no new IPS fresh ideas, or 1st party games... but they always have Halo. You got Gears trying to appear in Lost Planet games, it is getting kinda sad now that I think about it.
But Sony did state a 10 year plan for the PS3, so Microsoft has to have a LOT of stamina to keep the PS3 from passing them... it will take some time, but...
PC games, which play much better because of mandatory installs, used to play from the CD/DVD drive. When the PC moved away from that, it was considered an "UPGRADE" to the way the PC handles gameplaying, etc.
You take the same process for the PS3, with what the PC used to call a "Minimum Install" option, and now it is the end of the world and a horrible thing. So will these installs be horrible in the future if the next 360 console comes with a 500GB hdd a...
Visits this forum. All I am going to say is wait and see. Microsoft has not paid Bioware/EA for the IP, so why would they keep it exclusive? Who gives a company an exclusive IP without them having to pay for it. And the fact that Dragon Age O just went multiplat, it is not like Bioware refuses to work on the PS3.
Time will reveal the truth, lets just hope it isn't "Bioshock" time for those who don't have a ready PC to play this game. I am having a blast with my P...
He forgot two:
1. PC has basically zero to 3 second load time (for me @ least)
2. PC saves are almost instantaneous(not sure about the 360)
But for all those people bytching about needing a new PC that cost a kajillion dollars, that is simply not true. I had bought the 360 version, but I read the system reqs for the PC version, and they are very reasonable. My 2 year old Dell XPS laptop runs ME2 just fine in @720 or 1080p. Took the 360 version back to W...
I don't think it is necessarily ONE game in particular. But I think a few exclusives could tend to catch those who are already on the fence peeking over, hesitating to buy that console. For instance, if you like shooters, and you were on the fence about getting a 360 anyhow, I can see how Halo Reach and Gears of War 1 & 2 could encourage you to make that buy if there was something special about those games that got your attention. The same holds true if you liked a few PS3 exclusives.....
It only makes sense for it to come to the PS3. I believe Microsoft paid for the advertising, so possibly the agreement was to keep the PS3 version hushed for now, until closer to its release day. The theory is solid, it is parallel to Microsoft's previous pattern of behavior, no "Only on XBOX" logos on the game... I am sticking to this theory. Microsoft didn't bet on the fact that their gamers could READ.
But I am playing this game on my PC right now, it is great. ...
That the release of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 should be as soon as possible instead of a year + wait like Bioshock had.
To purposely discount the year of wait on the PS3's Bioshock release, and then diss the sales figures is nothing more than a troll session (unless you honestly didn't know that).
I will say it again, there is no "Only on XBOX" logo on the 360's Mass Effect2 box - wonder why?
Forza3 sells again... stop it, you shouldn't have.
Care to explain the missing "Only on XBOX" label from the 360 version of the game? It is on EVERY other XBOX and XBOX + PC exclusive that I know about... pffft, even Bioshock had the label, but ME2 doesn't? Hmmmm. Oh well, it plays fine on my PC with my SixAxis controller
If you look at the mass denials on this forum and many others... the only people rabidly delusional about ME2 being on the PS3 are 360 fanboys. 360 fanboys are the only ones stupid enough to continue to deny... wishing real hard won't prevent something from happening.
On the Mass Effect 2 case. I already have it for my PC, playing it with my PS3 Sixaxis controller and mouse hooked up... awesome setup. This code is pretty much proof that it is coming to PS3, the same thing happened with Bioshock, PS3 references were found on the PC code. And since Microsoft doesn't own the IP, well... put 2 and 2 together.
Like I said, when I saw the 360 box with no "Only on XBOX" label, I knew the jig was up. This code just confirms what we've...
Someone is probably keeping a mental list of anyone who may say anything positive towards the PS3 and de-bubbling them with multiple accounts. I lost a bubble, and I didn't even comment during the time I lost it. But oh well... it could've been because I mentioned playing Mass Effect 2 on my Dell XPS laptop with my PS3 SixAxis Controller... that coulda burned somebody's panties. But ontopic, not a bad score from Euro. Heavy Rain is shaping into a must buy for me.
WOW, truly epic and a "game changer" in the way FPS games are supposed to play online. Now THIS is an Online only game that has gonads.
It is starting to pull away by a considerable margin in graphics, original IPs, and quality titles.
What exactly kept Sony from locking down the harddrive in the PS3 just like Microsoft did with the 360? It was a great opportunity there for them to do so.
Isn't it ironic that the 360 is supposed to be more "PC-like", but it cannot use a standard PC(laptop) hdd? When in fact, it is the PS3 that will use any over the shelf laptop hdd of your choosing, any size. I see the comedy in that.
And I agree that RROD is inexcusable, but I didn't want to start...
People forget that Sony and Nintendo have multiple consoles on the market. Looking at complete console sales for each company, since Microsoft only has one... then they obviously come in third in overall console sales. Sony is juggling PS3, PS2 (who woulda thought it would still be selling), PSPs. Microsoft is a one trick Pony, and to be honest, they still didn't get that right. At the end of the day, who sells more consoles than the other company? (Since many N4gers only care about sales...
