Fail to mention stuff like all the horrible screen tearing going on at the 3:00 minute mark? Looks decent enough though, I am curious about it. Although toward the beginning looked a lot like an Evil Dead scene with the bridge collapsing and running into the cabin, etc. I like Evil Dead, so it is ok with me.
Bunch of lackeys on here already saying that it looks better than Heavy Rain, but of I am sure you are OK with that. That is a bit of a stretch IMO, but I'd say it see...
Even if the 360 version turned out to look twice as bad, you would still have loyalists swear otherwise. Keep in mind Halo3 is one of the best looking games this gen according to 360 fans... despite Bungie admitting the game's tremendous graphical shortfall.
I called them out on graphics right after buying the game @ launch. But it was against some 360 fanboy religion to say anything negative, even if truthful, about Halo. It is like pissing on Jesus to them or something.
Capcom wasn't gonna make multidisc game because - Microsoft charges royalties on each additional DVD needed n the set.
Capcom cannot make DLC free because Microsoft PROHIBITS free content in the form of DLC on the Marketplace.
Hate on Capcom all you want, but Microsoft is at the root of this issue for forcing archaic DVD tech in the 360 and disallowing free DLC on XBL.
Add this to the list of bold offenses Microsoft has made against gamers this gen for p...
Antartica would've been identified in Hell before 360 fanboys would've admitted such.

If Activison had their way, consoles would be $50 and each game would be $100 each. Go Figure.
According to most major review sites Halo 3 averaged in the 9.0 to 9.5 and up on graphics. 360 fanboys claimed this as well, and swore it was the 2nd coming of Christ, even in graphics. Too bad Bungie finally admitted that Halo3 was not the graphical powerhouse that so many claimed it was.
EDIT: At those who keep discounting graphics, the hardware industry as a WHOLE disagrees with you, including consoles. If graphics never needed improvement, then there is no need to buy a ...
There is no "Only on 360" logo stamped on it. Microsoft does not own the IP, the only thing in question is were the resources and time spent or being spent on finishing up a PS3 version. Microsoft is not in the say so unless they struck a limited timed exclusive deal by paying for Super Bowl advertisement, which is probably the case. EA can release the game for the PS3 if they want without any legal ramifications. ME is not owned by Microsoft.
I cannot blame Microsoft for trying to advertise this game and let people know "Hey it is on the 360 also", informing consumers they have a choice. Problem is that most people who follow anything Final Fantasy even from a distance knows it is @ home on Playstation and Sony. They will probably also know that the game has been confirmed "gimped" on the 360. So multiple console owners may choose the PS3 version despite advertising. But, semi-JRPG fan 360 only owners have ...
This patent will have minimal effect on single hackers, but will prevent people from capitalizing PS3 hacking services, charging folks a fee to do do the hack or sell prehacked PS3s at a premium online, etc. It won't stop hacking, but will does slow the public open usage of it.
Every individual downloading 30GB plus games is not logical or rewarding. But imagine a single source did the downloads, and mass produced copied games for $20 each, and also sold you the hacked PS3 t...
I guess they have to do something with her.
They took inspiration from cookie cutter FPS games instead of reverting back to what made the earlier FF games big hits. I'd rather them draw inspiration from the Breath of Fire games and Xenogears.
Now I'm definately not buying this game. Verdict = Game Pass Rental
Guerilla Games bested the entire Halo franchise in quality by their 2nd installment of Killzone, and their very 1st PS3 release. Halo Reach will be the 6th game, and so far, it will seem to be subpar Killzone2 quality. Now I just imagine what Killzone6 would look like at this rate.
Maybe it was part of the initial deal to bring it over to the 360. Maybe MS agreed to front SE the advertising dollars as part of the deal. Just my best guess.
360 fans deserve to know what they are buying just like PS3 fans do. I mean we all have disagreements on this site, but damn, every gamer sould reserve the opportunity to buy the game advertised and not something photoshopped.
Good luck to 360 and PS3 gamers interested in this title. I hope they are not trying to hide something major here. Because that explanation was bull, someone @ SE went through the TROUBLE to photoshop out the PS3 button and replace it with a 360 button...
I doubt many folks will be inclined to break open their PS3s to try the same thing.
Downloaded it, nothing beats a free game! Sent everyone in my friends list a message to download it too.
Thanks Sony.
Lets say we had one apple and we asked Edge to review it. Here is how the review would read depending on which console that apple was for.
360 apple: Shiny red nutritious tasty treat, healthy.
Same exact fruit moved to the PS3 category would read:
PS3 apple: Small red incomplete meal, leaves you hungry, too shiny almost wax looking.
This is the way of Edge, and they are inconsistent in their review standards, and do not hold both co...
According to 360 fanboys, the 360 is the superior console. It also had a year head start and is supposedly easy to develop for like a PC. So why is the 360 playing catchup to the PS3 graphically on games that are a year old?
Answer that rationally and win a prize.
And to others, this article isn't about if Halo Reach will play better online, etc., and how long people will play it. It is about Reach being superior in GRAPHICS to God of War 3. Anyone who agree...
Is Halo Reach impressive over Halo3 - Yes. But graphically Halo3 was garbage.
Is Halo Reach impressive over other greater graphical marvels this gen like Uncharted2, Killzone2, Mass Effect 2 and Heavy Rain... the truth uhhh, no.
If you run around fighting things with light, etc. I wonder how many different "gun" upgrades you can do. I wonder if they will have regular weapons that can be blessed with light somehow. Like how effective would a shotgun be, gatling light gun perhaps? I am curious about weapon choices. Or will it be where you hit enemies with light to put them in a weakened state, and THEN you can finish them off with a regular gun, etc. Will your batteries run out, will flood lights like d...
