You just pwned yourself. Lair's graphics was NEVER the issue, as a matter of fact, for a release title they were stellar. The controls were the issue, but they were PATCHED (WAY TO LATE) so the dragons can be controlled via analog sticks. If you have to go back to a PS3 release title in attempts to make yourself feel more confident about Splinter Cell given this news, then you truly are pathetic.

HS was released in the earlier PS3 years, was 5 to 6 hours long, and probably took hits for being too short. Similar style game, with awesome production value, $1,000 bucks says this jerk complained about it being too short. Just face it, its on the PS3, so therefore you REFUSE to be satisfied. GOW3 is in a league of its own.
And I am only about 2 hours into the game. All my wife could do was watch me play it like a super blockbuster action film. The sound mixing and presentation of this game is the absolute BEST I've ever seen put into a game, especially the opening sequence. I see what HHG meant by anyone giving the Presentation of this game an 8 had to be insane. There is nothing else production and presentation-wise that holds a candle to GOW3 at the moment.

To inconvenience loyal PAYING customers for the sake of a FALSE sense of security is bad. It is not a secret that savvy paying customers who couldn't get DRM'ed legal software to work properly gave up on it, and downloaded the pirated better working copies so they could play the game as intended.
Honestly, I do not blame a company for trying to protect their assets... but you can't disable good paying customers in the process.
