Since the code stems from Sony as the source (supposedly), they should have thorough working knowledge of how it works. The problem for them is how to stop code that works like it is suppose to, code that they created, without jeopardizing the code's true function when needed. They can just just blow out a firmware update that blocks this code to be run in debug mode, etc. Well, that is fine until someone who bought a warranty has issues with their console, you send it in, and there is...

All Kinect and Move titles to be a little more than prototypes. I think the games will improve after the devices have been out a while. If there are some cool or decent launch games, that is great, but I personally don't expect any mind blowing stuff right now.

For me, a decent StarWars lightsaber game would be great.

Already spent extra loot on the charge-n-play kit in the past. I've just decided a long time ago not to play fighting games on my 360.

I am honestly enjoying Mafia 2 much more than I did GTA4. It may just be the "authentic" style mobster story. Who knows? Maybe it was just too difficult for GTA to live up to the hype and past glory of the previous games. I suppose someone could argue that Mafia has a bit more breathing room and lesser expectations.

A dollar a day, stop beating around the bush. Microsoft fans are already in full support of this price hike. I say make it fair. XBL is the most supreme and superior service on Earth. You don't even need an ISP to access it(sarcasm), XBL does it all and it is worth every penny. Isn't that what 360 fans scream from the mountain tops?

I say make it a smooth $365 Microsoft, you have all the support you need. These parents will pay for spoiled little's Johnny...

What is another $50 yearly? The problem is it is a 20 PERCENT price hike. I had no idea there was a XBL "shortage" causing an instant need to curb the supply-n-demand effect. I say make XBL $365 a year, hey its only a dollar a day right, that's not bad at all.

See how ridiculous you sound now?

Screwed their consumers into buying them 1 free game ($60) for online access to their already purchased games. I REALLY don't understand how some of you get up in the morning, look in the mirror, and feel good about being Microsoft fans. I honestly feel bad for you guys. But hey, if you support the rape, why shouldn't the rapist return? Again, and again, and again...

People like Murderdolls doesn't mind buying a free game for Microsoft employees every year. I...

Pretty soon XBL will be $100 a year, and many fanboys will still defend it. SMH, and pair this with the fact that XBL has ADS... ridiculous.

With two obvious different art styles and color palettes to control the mood, etc. Killzone, kinda greyish war torn looking which is to be expected. Rage looks good with a brighter color palette, reminds me of a Borderlands on steroids, which is a great thing... I'm still playing Borderlands right now.

Both games seem to be a win-win must play... what is there to argue about?

I co-sign 150%. I operate the exact same way. Some games aren't worth the admission in the first place, so used games definately have a place in gamer's lives. I believe your stance is fair and balanced.

I don't support this practice no matter whose idea it is. People reserve the right to buy used games if they like. Sony makes plenty of money, they just need to be glad that the person buying a 2nd hand game has bought their console. So what is next, people will be victims of additional charges when they buy 2nd hand consoles too?

This idea to ME is rubbish. Sony is not in the same boat as greedy companies like Activision and EA. Sony has other means of profit and sa...

On those free weekends? This idea is so lame and dumb all in the same breath that it can't help but be fake.

If you traded in 4 used games worth $8 each, that means you would have $32 STORE CREDIT AND the PS Move Bundle. For it to be free, you'd have to keep the value of your trade-ins as well.

a decent surge of 360 purchases. Legit ones from Halo Reach sales push, and replacement console purchases from idiots playing the pre-release while connected online. Seems like they would have enough since to use their dedicated "offline only" 360 console just to play out the single player campaign.

I hope they paid you well, because if this is your natural taste for gaming, it is indeed VERY BAD. This would make most blockbuster PS3 exclusives and Halo Reach from what I have seen so far a 22/10 ! Kane & Lynch 2 is easily a 6/10 game and that is reaching max allowable score, a 7/10 is a stretch, the game is ugly and repetitive, no excuse for those graphics @ this stage of the gen.

Halo Game? For all we know Reach could be prequel # 1 in a series of prequels. I watched the video, there is nothing to spoil. The 1st 10 minutes is meant to immerse you into the story... and that approach is just fine.

On a side note, sometimes the problem with prequels is that people can't explain how tech and adversary alike seem to be much more advanced than the following story.

For example, Star Wars had this problem in many areas of their movie. ...

Its not like watching the ending. It won't bother me to watch the opening, since I am not a Halo worshipper. Do you truly need to be OMG'd to death for this game? Or has it been THAT long since a blockbuster game has hit the 360? Real Talk.

There is no way I'd volunteer my PS3s into the hacking experiment currently taking place. And with the USB hack-dongle being $150, it sounds more like a get-rich-quick scheme. They knew these things would be detected... there is NO STEALTH, and at no point do I recall these guys advertising stealth. It would take a complete fool to use this hack this early in an unproven stage.

Good luck to those who got a hold of this early, I hope you took a snapshot of your PS3 hdd ...

I think the device is coming from Australia. But the greedy $170 price tag will make it already unattainable to a lot of folks. I know I am not willing to spend $170 on a device that could either A) cause you to be banned or B) become simply blocked out via firmware update. I'd almost bet that Sony has stealthily bought a handful of these and are probably reverse engineering this device to find a nice means to block its use. Too risky right now for me personally.
