We often tend to forget what a great risk a new IP can be amongst the already established sequels, etc. It is so much safer business-wise to go with the industry approved carbon-copy. Most people would opt to take the safe sells bet, another COD game if you will.

Branding matters too much to most consumers, therefore, many great ideas get stifled and shot down by things that are "trendy". I hope that gamers of all consoles can keep an open mind, try out new exper...

A game that is Every Game.

It is local and I can trade out 3 games in 1 week if I have to. Also, there is little hassle cancelling month to month. So if 3 new games i wanted to play came out this month. 9 times out of 10, I can rent and play them all if I like. Then if there is nothing coming out the following month, I cut it off before my sub renews.

This works the best for me, it is a little pricier, but I have no wait times, and I can change out day to day as much as I like.

Nintendo should give us a super high powered console for the same price as the current Wii... why? Glad you asked. To pay back its loyal customers for buying a motion controlled re-skinned Gamecube, thats why. This is a no-brainer IMO. HDTVs have sold much better than many anticipated, it would be new console suicide to release a sub 720pHD system again.

Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Smash Bros in 3D HD perhaps? And an improved online system with Nintendo tokens (trophies/achi...

Is that you? You know there is now a warrant out for your arrest... just kidding! And since you don't want your imaginary PS3, can you kindly donate to a gamer (me) who will give it the attention it deserves?

We know you have to stay away from all Sony products now, so it is in your best interests anyway to give them up. I will even pay for shipping. :)

By the way, cross platform gaming is a very nice feature, I'm gonna enjoy this on my PS3 and PC ...

"A game that was originally built for the PS3 was converted to the NGP with less than 1 week of development work. The portable version retains the full details of textures, characters, and level designs without ANY reduction in quality."

Call me a sucker, I am getting one of these.

The draw distance being displayed is unbelievable.

Here are vids for those looking still:

Man, Geo seems mentally unstable. He can't accept the fact that he lost. He was actually beaten by a machine and it's parent company. He couldn't hack it, so he had to steal. He couldn't beat Sony's charges in court, so he had to agree to settle. He needs to be on 24hr suicide watch. Things didn't go like they did in the past with Apple and the iPhone.

He seems to be incapable of accepting his loss.

The same way we don't OWN ...

There's a new sheriff in town, and his name is cgoodno. He's one of the newest moderators, congrats.

But on topic, I almost bought this game last night. I believe PSN + members get a discount on purchasing it. I got sidetracked though, couldn't decide whether to buy this game, the other new one, or both.

I'd be glad to join in the test, and get the copy of Reach for those who have the game already. PM me? I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

"Camping" as people call it, is a primitive hunting move. Tigers "camp" in tall brush while stalking their prey. Military members "camp" when they set up a defensive perimeter or a machine gun nest. And guess what, it works. You walk upon either of these you are dead meat.

If you train your eyes to look for movement, like many military do, even in darkness you can spot an enemy. Camping is a sound strategy that makes sense. Campers usually ...

What you describe falls into distributing which bears the more hefty penalty of $250,000 minimum. No wonder Geohotz has so many problems if he has friends like you.

I have seen people do stupid, but taking a PERSONAL risk of being fined $250,000 just to give someone a hack for a Sony product not turning a profit is the definition of insanity.

He's done with Sony, perhaps he can find a way to make XBL free for all gamers instead.

@chasegarcia - I disagree

Sony drew up a settlement that was in their favor. This usually happens when the plaintiff(Sony) has evidence to further damage the defendant(Geo). But it may not be cost effective (for either party) to prolong the trial.

Sony had hit the sweet spot for their case, and got the terms of THEIR agreement via plea bargain to Geohotz.

Sony got:
1. An injunction targeting Geohotz specifically for hacking and bann...

Hate to say it Eamon, but we told you it would happen. Geo basically got banished from all things Sony. If Geo was anywhere near as smart as he believes, he should spend some time studying law and he would've seen the err of his ways before he went so public with his own incrimination.

That attention whore got exactly what he was looking for, lots of attention, it just wasn't the kind he expected. I hope George enjoyed his vacation with all the idiot money that was...

The power of advertising and name branding will almost always guarantee that somewhere, somehow a lesser game will get better reviews and sales than a superior one.

Even if the next COD is a copy of the last, it is poised to sell more than Battlefield - no matter if BF turned out to be twice as good.

Is one of the best in any game genre. I enjoy ME very much. I guess because I get a slight feel of KOTOR while playing them or something. Nevertheless, a great game on either system or PC.

I know people will needlessly compare the versions to no end, but enjoy the game no matter what system you buy it for.
