I can't stand the pay-to-play model. I want to buy a game and be able to play it offline, online, co-op, wherever. What kills me is the same games that charge to play it like DCU, can still cost you a bit for the game software.
Why isn't the disc sold for $9.99 - $19.99 for starters since they are looking to make their money off subscriptions?
This could be an international crime. So it may not matter where the person lives. DHS has "special" avenues of approach to gain international support, just like the FBI can nab someone out of country with cooperation from a foreign intelligence agency.
Because DHS is involved, it is hinting to the fact that this crime is considered an act of cyber terrorism - possibly . I believe that the nature, scaled size, and coordination of this attack makes it a juicy case...
The 3DS is a mistake. This is just my opinion, but I simply view it as a DSI-3D. I know that may be inaccurate, and I know the NGP will be pricey also. I also know that handheld anything prices are high, but I don't see the value in the 3DS - just my opinion.
When it comes to these matters, it is a good security measure to change them up from time to time. I know it is a little bit of a pain to go around and change your shopping info on a few sites, but it helps you out in the overall picture against fraud.
These guys could have my old card number, but since I've changed it, if someone tried my card number (even months down the road) for whatever reason, they will be met with disappointment. This is not just for PSN, but it ...
Anyone who is worth their salt in the IT field can explain to you what a secure system is. The definition of a secure system is one that NOBODY can access, or a system that is turned off. PSN, XBL, and Nintendo's network is not completely secure. Do they have decent security, sure. Can they withstand coordinated malicious attacks? Probably not.
There may be someone in the FBI who is looking to make a career, who may just focus on this case sense it has made internati...
Much better. Anyone who watched him in the All Star game knows what I'm talking about. He was undoubtedly the best player on the entire field of All Stars - enough said.
Edit: And as far as Hillis running a guy over half his size - where is the big deal in that? Run over a Ray Lewis like that, then you have my attention.
Oh well, no curse for Vick, which is cool.
1. If you had a major credit card linked to your PSN account, Monitor the activity on your current credit/debit card and look for odd transactions
2. Call your bank and request a new card. And be proactive, once you call, inform your bank associate of the PSN compromise, and why you are calling. Some banks like USAA already know about it, and will insure you that you will not be responsible for any fraudulent charges. Any decent bank will not hold a client responsible for ...
1. Get a new credit card in place of your old one.
2. Change the password on you email account linked to your PSN account
3. Consider prepaid PSN or credit/gift cards for future PSN purchases.
There is nothing wrong with trying to be a little safe. Protect yourselves when things like this happen. Most decent banks, etc. have fraud protection. Just make sure you monitor your accounts for strange or malicious activity. If you have any questions about charges...
They know where you live, have proof of what you've been doing, they usually know where you shop and hang out. Whoever the starting 40 people are, they are definitely screwed.
You see, it is not that Anon was getting away with their activity for so long, It is just that they weren't high up enough on the priority list for the people who could catch them to care. Now it seems that they can make somebody's career in the FBI, their azz is grass.
I ...
I'll be glad when this game comes out.
The gaming demographic is broad. People will often gravitate towards news or sources that they can relate to. There is an audience for Hip Hop Gamer, let's not deny that. When I first saw his videos, I knew he was on to something, and I also knew that if he kept at it, he would grow professionally and make some gains. As far as I can tell, HHG has done just that.
He has met some power players in the gaming industry, which is a big money entertainment business. He has...
I didn't get one. Infamous is one of my favorite games. Oh well, if anyone has a spare, if you are so kind, PM me.
Everyone else, enjoy.
It saves you money and it makes sense. Too many companies "step sell" you technology.
Had GBA, skipped the DS, got the Nintendo DS Lite, skipped the DSi and waited for the DSiXL and got that. I am currently skipping the 3DS and waiting for Nintendo's next handheld.
Same thing with Sony. I skipped the original PSP, got the PSP2000, skipped the PSP Go! (bad idea IMO), and currently awaiting the NGP.
This is my current handheld ...

So I can help rescue starving children all over the world? Ok, maybe that won't happen, but who doesn't love Gears?
I've been watching Mike Vick for a while. It wasn't until this past year that I actually became a fan. This guy had a record breaking season, and played as if he were possessed in most games. He was definately MVP for his team, and is arguably the most raw talented pure player on the field.
I personally love animals, but as far as the dog fighting stuff, I mean he went to jail and served his time according to the law. People have gotten off with less time for mu...
EVERYTIME this happens, there is no separate review for both versions. Only when the PS3 port is inferior will you get two different review scores. Someone prove me wrong, but I am calling this now.
Edit: Nevermind, IGN strikes again - I called it.
"Platform Differences
On PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Portal 2 looks great, though as tends to be the case, not as good as with the settings turned up on a nice PC. Split-screen and online co-oper...
Great game that has gone without inspiration? Better yet, where would we be today if no one drew from inspiration? I would assume that many of our games today are better for it.
Tiger Woods? He is the only person I know running around happy with a Red Johnson.
1. Geohotz releases Sony's key to the public, strokes his own ego, starts rapping and shyt.
2. Sony sues Geo in court, things start to look bad for Geo, takes a deal - Sony gets mild relief from a small victory.
3. Anon comes out of the woods starts making Cyber Terrorism threats at Sony.
* FBI starts watching *
4. Anon attacks Sony to retrieve employee personal data and sends Jack pizzas to his home.
* FBI starts monitori...
