Gee, you must have a Wii U already. Care to mention all of its features? I hope for your sake you know them now, since you confirmed it yourself that the Wii U has absolutely nothing that the PS3 and Vita don't.
No, the Wiimote uses a sensor bar. I've had official confimation from a Nintendo representative at my store that the Wii U will have screenless controllers specifically designed for the Wii U.
PC gamer here. I don't think the 360 would become obsolete. There's people out there who just aren't willing to spend the money to get a PC, even if it isn't even $600. The 360 will be around, and will be an alternative to many. I know many people who game casually but still own a 360. Do you honestly see them jumping to PC gaming?
It's a damn good indie title, but when I bought it for $15, it was a tad expensive.
Yeah, and the PS2 didn't have direct competition with two other major industries that are now beating the PS3 in sales.
Like what has been stated, most people have bought the console(s) of choice by this point.
I'm pretty sure, aside from ODST, that every Halo game made by Bungie has scored in the 90's. Reach included.
Halo: Combat Evolved - 97/100
Halo 2 - 95/100
Halo 3 - 94/100
Halo 3: ODST - 83/100
Halo: Reach - 91/100
Yep, the series is still one of the most well received shooters in history. And the fact that the majority of 343 Industries is comprised of the original creators of Halo: Combat Evolved, I have a lot of fait...
Hook up your PC to your TV with your HDMI, and use any controller available if need be.
You'll have a more immersible experience with better graphics and possible 3D capabilities depending on the game since that's apparently what everyone wants. Then, once you're done gaming, you'll have a PC connected to your HDTV running at 1080p (I shouldn't have to explain why this is awesome).
Problem solved.
In the long run, you spe...
Build a PC and use a controller.

-Yae (Mystical Ninja starring Goemon)
-Megaman
I can dream, right? Feel free to add on.
Yeah, you guys are going to like this one. I remember buying it during the summer of arcade last year. It's an awesome puzzle game, but it's pretty short unfortunately.
"I don't get why everyone wants exclusives."
Because they've all run out of things to bicker over.
Plus every MMO's community, plus PC gamers who are offline players. The community is larger than the PS3, 360, and Wii combined.
Wait why does someone have to push 3D? Outside of a very limited number of things in the entire world, I find it to be rather gimmicky.
Very level headed comment. I've played both as well, and Uncharted 3's graphics compared to 2 are very questionable. Judging from ACTUAL experience (since most on here haven't had that), I've rated Gears of War 3's beta to be more visually stunning.
However, the single player will be a different story, but that applies to both games. If the trend continues, I might rate Gears above Uncharted 3, but I'd be surprised if I did.
I will sa...
By far I'd rate the Gears 3 beta to be more visually appealing than the Uncharted 3 beta based on those shots.
Also, Counter-Strike Source.
This guy knows his stuff. I cant wait for Red Orchestra 2. I'd personally like to throw in Left 4 Dead 2 and Unreal Tournament 2004 on there as well.
Yeah no.. I'd rate Battlefield above Call of Duty easily. I've been doing it since BF2 back on the PC.
@flankhim
most CoD fanboys don't know how to play a shooter.
That's something I honestly could not care about in terms of a feature. To bluntly put it, I find it useless mainly due to the fact that from my experience and a lot of other friends' experiences, most people who own a handheld play it in their home. With that being said though, I love dungeon crawlers, and the main thing that I hope this game has is a good multiplayer as well as a robust combat and item system.
You ready to scrap the random ass market system and put in a structured auction house so people don't have to search through multiple bazaars finding a single item that can be extremely overpriced? There's a reason the AH has existed in every MMO. It works, and is essentially needed to keep a well-organized economy.
Or how about removing the whole physical/job levels being separate statistics so people aren't forced to reallocate their stats every time they want t...
