Sony has won every generation vs MS in salez. MS now with Scorpio is no longer in competition with Sony generationally. MS no longer has generations and is more akin to PCs now. The whole argument now about what console is best by salez is moot. The Scorpio is no longer on the same timeline as any Sony product. In 3 years the next MS console will release and then 3 after that. Each time being an upgraded version of the one before it but it's not a new generation each time just an upgrade ...
Scorpio isn't out yet why preorder something for Xbox when we know nothing outside of hardware capabilities. But from my understanding it should be a drastic difference. If it's not then ms exaggerated imo. The third party games by all accounts should be near of pc ultra settings. If not then what's the point?

If you bought the OG X1, I could see why it's both worth it and not worth it. It's cringeworthy reading people ask for exclusives though? Does the pro have pro exclusives really? @nightmare. Why would the og owners feel slighted? There's no exclusive games to the Scorpio. It's the same exact thing as the pro. The reason the Scorpio is so much stronger is because it came a year later. It's aimed towards the same demographics.
If reality meets expectations, the multiplatforms are gonna look so much better on Scorpio they might as well be exclusive.
If people see a drastic difference in let's say the new SW BF, that's a game that needs to look great on Scorpio. If it looks that much better and shows the differences between the og PS4/ X1 and the pro while Sony advertises it, will push quite a few systems alone.
@snoop, there has been very minimal differences between most multi's so there wasn't a definitive version. The differences should be quite big now between Scorpio and the other platforms.
Goldby, Your intentional twisting words brother. U know exactly what's meant by the comment. The future of both companies is a new upgraded console at the least every 3 years. They may keep the moniker of mid gen upgrade by Sony but MS has blatantly said generations for them is of the last. Which at a certain point ms will change what lowest common denominator the devs use for development. The console was designed with the developers in mind to make games as easy to port as possible.
U don't play madden, cod, FIFA, bf, NBA, destiny, lists goes on. They will be the definitive versions.
All AAA games not exclusive will look and play better on the Scorpio vs the PS4 pro. My og PS4 will be just for a handful of games a year now. Every other major AAA release will be on theScorpio if they aren't bullshitting by DF and MS. If there's any forced parity on devs I would be done gaming.
@goldby, do we call new games on pc's or pc hardware "generations"? Older hardware gets left behind every year.
