I think controls is the number one thing but even then if the graphics are poor i lose interest regardless of how great the controls are. Sometimes you have to look at the art direction though.
I get that you want variety and in the US its all about guns. But really what do you want them to make? Are you asking for a genre not invented yet? Or do u want RPG's or seomthing? Sports/FPS/TPS/RPG/puzzle and maybe some side scrollers is just about all u get. You basically get those genre's with prettier graphics. You really cant reinvent the wheel.
Wow you guys take this GOTY stuff seriously. Whether a game wins an award or not does nothing with my enjoyment of a game. People are angry that other people are guessing who they think might win GOTY because the games havent been released yet. So by this logic people shouldnt make guesses as to who will win the next superbowl because the games havent played yet. People do because its fun. Relax folks above. Id play on PSN more often but all my friends are on LIVE. SO until my friends and family move to the PSN ill prolly play more on LIVE still. But this is still very interesting and to me the biggest thing Sony has done to date. Im excited to see this through.
When you say campers you mean like guys that hang out in rooms waitin for runners or something like that, right? I personally love to snipe in some maps, in HARDCORE where there is no killcam(gay). Ive been called a camper for that but i beg to differ.

I want new consoles myself. I always buy launch and then buy another one when they drop under the 200 range because by that time my launch ones are starting to really wear. My 360/PS3 were both launch and just in the last 6 mos i bought 2 more. Im ready for nex-gen. Its not like once the nex-gen starts you have to abandon support for the old one. Although i believe M$ will. $ony has a history of supporting their previous consoles.

Same for the haters. I could care less but in my point of view and im no hacker by any means but if i purchase something it is mine. Now the PSN I did not buy so i cannot "hack" into it. Thats where the legality in my point of view lies. If your just fukin with it at home for personal amusement to play with teh cell then so be it but do not go online with it.

Of course. So is COD, all music games, HALO, all sports franchises, RE series, certain genres in general(FPS). Im not helping either. I own every Madden from the beginning, the COD's, HALO's and most of the RE's. I also buy almost all the AAA FPS'. I love the arguments of KZ,Halos,COD,etc. There all the same thing pretty much just in a different wrapper.
