What, buy an Official Harddrive for his 360?

Ha... Ba-dump-bump. ;)

I wonder how long the delay is between when you're selected and when you actually receive the winning notification?

<Ha> Sorry. ;)

In all seriousness, it's cool that MS is offering this chance for gamers to try it out. More hands-on experience from real gamers (for both MS's and Sony's tech) is sorely needed.

ROFLMFAO! +1 to you, sir!

And since when did Kramer start writing gaming news?

"U know something , hip hop gamer is being invited to all the game shows... being invited to behind the scenes events... being invited by developers personally."

Similarly, do you know who else is invited to a lot of media events, television shows, interviews, movie openings, etc?

AEtherbane:

The post was a joke about a Commodore PET version of the game -- I used the article pic with an ASCII art generator to do a "screenshot". :)

I mean seriously, a comparison of a PC/PS360 game and a Wii version? That's a bit unfair, so I showed the PET's version too. :)

It's not prolapsed, it's *not there*. Most of it was removed due to cancer. Don't be a tool.

"...This is going to be one of the finest titles to be releasing this year."

After, what, 20 years in development it had better be one of the finest games this year.

Foxgod, it's a good idea to avoid using the term "jap" whenever possible, regardless of your intentions.

While TS4 is my current Holy Grail, and I'd love to see the new Syphon Filter sooner rather than later, these are not squad-based shooters.

Kind words, and interesting suggestion, but I doubt that I'd last a day or two before I had to ban myself. :)

No, not baiting you. :) It's a shame you were banned, but I was just clarifying things from the viewpoint of a long-time gaffer.

Yes, I read most of the posts. It's irrelevant, because when mods ban someone they have no problem banning everyone involved. It can be harsh, but hey. This is the intarwebs.

(I'll +bub ya, as you're running out.)

Jason, you don't have to meltdown here too. You fly off the handle too easily. :)

I was using the term most commonly used on NeoGAF for what happened in the thread. I agree the mods can be heavy-handed at times, but that thread turned into a clusterfluck. Don't forget that a few other people got banned as well.

But, no, I wouldn't describe posts such as http://www.n...

This is the thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum...

By the way, if you read through the posts as I just did, it doesn't look like his ban was due to expressing his opinion, it was due to his subsequent meltdown.

It looks like a half-dozen other users who participated in the freak-out were also banned, so I think it was just a general culling rather than surgical removal.

Agreed. He's built up his persona and brand very well, but he could be taken more seriously if errors like "bias/biased" were cleaned up.

Those aren't part of his street cred slang, they're just stupid mistakes.

Shouldn't that be "respek"? (Ha. ;)

5795d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's just another indicator of poor journalism. If someone wants to be taken seriously, he/she should at least be able to communicate properly.

It's fine if he wants to ghetto things up with "da" instead of "the", because that goes towards his persona, but at least get some fundamental words right once in a while. Slang is slang, but ignorance can be avoided with a little effort.

He's not alone -- most of the articles (and 'commenters') exhibit ...
