...Written by a kid who probably really, really sucks at SSD. "An Asteroids clone with colours, too repetitive..." probably sums up the kind of review he'd write.
It comes across as something a keener would write to impress his teacher.
Not that I necessarily disagree the content, but seriously... this article/blog post is a serious piece of sh1tty writing.
Yeah, same "problem" with SSD. "[O]nly minor changes to the rocks tip you off that you've moved on from the previous level.
;)
Looks great, I saw it when it was first announced and will definitely consider getting one.
Too bad the left stick is in the wrong place. (HA! ;) )
Here's another fine example of amateurish web journalism.
Very cool, can't wait. I love the web-based Flash game.
This is an earlier, more detailed demo of the technology. I can't wait to see it implemented.
Buff1044: "Well...judging by all the flags this story has received, the PSN fan boys have come out of the woodwork. haha "
No, just "fan boys" of worthwhile news and valid points.
Time of day it's released? Buddy, if you're upset having to wait a day to download something, you need more friends and sunlight.
Calling it an "article"? Hilarious! It's little more than a 2-reply forum rant.
GreenRing:
Is the reason you're ordering two Kinects because you want to have four people play at a time? :)
In order for Kinect to overcome its current shortcomings, the only answer--for me, at least--is: "It has to."
Given time, money, patience, and dedicated developers, Kinect will probably adapt well to its own niche gaming style.
And it'll be at *least* $100, versus a real-world non-proprietary $40-50 bucks. Despicable.
I don't understand what they were thinking. If you're not going to make it a standard feature for your console, at least make it generic. (E.g. It would make more sense for a proprietary HD to be in a console that comes with one as a standard component.)
Crappin' cheap. That's $80 CDN instead of $99. Not too shabby.
HARLEQUIN! One of the best platformers of *all time*.
Something about this game rubs me the wrong way.
How many fuggin' times do we have to re-read a re-worked interpretation of an old story? Holy kcuf this is insane.
Heh, I did a mockup a while ago for a NeoGaf post...
The link I saw showed "Sold for $50K".
I still say it's a hoax. We'll hear about it soon, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was from a site other than the source. Then again, if it is from the source's site they'd get even more hits. Imagine that! Order now! ;)
There isn't any indication that it's an unannounced game, so for all we know it could be Infamous 2.
I checked the source on Twitter and went back a few days. I didn't see "sony" "resistance" or "uncharted" on there at all. Was the tweet removed?
