The Satio does *not* even have RemotePlay. I've contacted S/E about it, because this was the phone I've been waiting for (previously known as the 'Idou'). According to Sony Ericsson support, only the Aino has RemotePlay to stream audio/video/image content remotely.

Hardly anyone buys these expensive phones without a carrier's contract deal anyway. I was waiting for the Idou/Satio, but I just got the word from S/E that it *doesn't* support Remote Play, for some stupid reason. You'd think that the flagship model ($$$) would do it, but nope.

This may be a good alternative. We'll see how the reviews pan out.

Try using the vacuum cleaner on your room first. On a regular basis. That helps too. ;)

And you know he read the article how? Is that your other account?

The entire point of the article was explaining why the rubble looked the way it does on the PS3. He obviously missed the point.

I will continue to assume the 5 disagrees are from you and your extra accounts, because no one who grasped the article could honestly disagree.

Dimitri: Try reading the actual article before posting your comment next time. ;)

F*cking right. Glad someone had the bulls to say it. Sure, it might be a bit of an about-face to what they were ballyhooing earlier, but they've achieved a lot of what they wanted to do and this is the best response to the current market.

This is great for the entire industry, as it's keeping each of the big three circling around each other on their toes.

None of the Three have sat on their arses, and luckily all we have to do as gamers is play, watch the antics, w...

"I didn't know that Burnout was shovelware."

It is when the controls respond as though you were steering with shovels instead of hands.

It's amazing technology, but it's still in its infancy as far as usability goes. It'll be vastly different in 2010/11 when it's released.

"Final Fantasy XIII does not look like being released at the resolution its awesome graphics demand. At the Sony Press Conference, the company made a big deal about the size of the screen they were using and how no other game console could display its products at such a size. It then went on to only show a handful of games at the full screen size (such as the Game of the Show, Uncharted 2) to prove it. FFXIII was not one of those games though, and operated in a picture within a picture m...

Other prototype images have shown buttons and analogue sticks. With this demo only using an prototype, and the presenters emphasising the importance of tactile/physical response, I think you can safely assume that the final model will have directional controls of some sort.

Regardless of the current debate(s), I think I've got Natal's slogan right here, pal:

"The Future is Waving"

You'd be better off (quality-wise and price-wise) with the superior Clevo M980NU (Sager, Eurocomm, etc...). Plus it's 18.4" versus 17". ;) Same specs otherwise.

(though I wish they'd release it as 17", myself...)

I gather from reading the full article, that he actually meant to say "If it was $200, I'd buy one." Maybe he'll correct that.

I don't think the price is unreasonable as a first-launch price. Ideally I'd liked to have seen it for $199 and a new $149 price point for the PSP-3000, but hey... Life's not cheap.

Don't forget that it was announced as "coming exclusively to the PS3 *when it launches*." That line was pretty obvious to anyone who can read between the lines.

Unfortunately people just want to jump on one bandwagon or the other without any care for critical listening.

This is not to say that FFIV is or isn't an exclusive, it's just that we all really, REALLY need to pay attention to what we're being fed.

So just use FF and "FlashGot" them. S'what I do.

edit: in this case, it *is* blocked. but you can grab the URL and open it in a browser window to download it.

FFS, 2 words: SIXTEEN GIGABYTES.

And it's a shiny brand new toy. Man, you kids are pathetic. Get your parents to buy you one for Christmas or something, or save your quarters and get the 3000.

Darren just replied via Twitter, saying simply "Yes" -- So apparently The Last Guardian is the game.

He's not directing it, just producing it.

And it's multi-plat, and it's without Hideo. I'll still buy the hell out of it though. ;)
