So it takes a 1 year exclusive title convince someone to buy the console? They weren't already going to buy it? It wasn't games that are going to be permanently exclusive to the console?
Sucks, but spring is looking busy with games already so maybe a summer release wouldn't be so bad
Oh please be true!
I'm just speaking from my own personal opinion and experience, not trying to down play one systems features. I went out and bought an original 60gb ps3 the day after I heard backwards compatibility was being discontinued. I thought it was a big deal to play my old ps2 games and didn't want to be without that feature. I ended up playing one ps2 game the whole life of the system. I think backwards compatibility would have been a big deal when these systems came out and choice in games w...
The developers want the game to be fan funded, it's not Sony not being willing to toss money at it.
Not really, they both will have close to the same amount of maps and will release more freely to the community after the game is released, what's the difference?
So it's fine when rainbow six does it but Square Enix is funding development by releasing an "unfinished" Hitman?
I know, but I consider leaving the ps4 in rest mode, on. The power consumption in rest mode can be rediculous.
Have the PowerA charger. Works great, has a stand alone plug-in so you don't have to leave your ps4 on and doesn't take up a USB spot.
That's different, Kickstarter your funding development of a game. The game never came out and backers never got tier rewards that they were promised. It's like if I ask you for money, promising you a car in 2 years. 2 years comes and goes and I say sorry I couldn't make the car for what you gave me. You would want your money (and rightfully so)
It's a STEALTH game, yes your score should be affected if you were seen. Isn't that the idea of stealth, to not be seen? To do something quietly without others knowing?
But where is the "extra" money coming from its 60$ and all the other episodes are free.
I disagree, its not that its not finished, they are just adding missions. Its either 60$ and you get everything as it comes out or they could have went the "episodic" route and had less missions at the start, charge 15-20$ and then charge each time more missions come out.
Because Naughty Dog is known for lackluster single player anything?
@jb it is the best deal in gaming, I think it's 30$ right now for a 2 year membership. Buy 2 new release games and you made your membership back, everything after that is money saved.
I love the Uncharted series, but after TLoU I'm curious to see what else ND can do! I'd be OK with Uncharted going to another developer with a different protagonist.
Its one thing to announce what you are going to have as DLC, vs something that is available day 1 or even within a month of release. Than you know it was probably being made before the game came out and was cut from the game. But I have faith in ND not screwing the gamers overs. Cant wait to see a non Nathan Drake focused storyline.
Wasn't meant to be a personal attack, and rereading I did come off as hostile and I apologize for that. My comment was more to inform that the ssd to I'll not give a huge benefit for cost. Also there is the fact that SSDs have a limited number of read/writes. You would be fine making it through this console generation, and probably be OK for a couple years into next, but for the cost/benefit and for how much prices have dropped even in the last year. I would wait until the cost /bene...
There is no reason to put a ssd in a ps4 or x1. Multiple sites have ran tests and you only gain a second or 2 on an ssd vs a hybrid. Hybrid drive is the most cost effective upgrade you can do if you want to shave a few seconds of loading time.
