It's easy to pickup and play a couple quick matches. But I agree It needs more.
I have a plan for a good story. I just need more money
Users don't have any interest in a 3rd option. Microsoft entered and failed. Very few people would be willing to switch to a different ecosystem at this point in time. Some of us have years and years of purchases and wouldn't even begin to think of switching.
Why would you assume that? Didn't happen ps2 to ps3 and didnt happen ps3 to ps4.
Killzone 2 was my hardest, most rediculous platinum that I managed to get
Oled burn in is basically a non issue. I have an LG b7 that I pretty much exclusively game on. I've had some image retention after HOURS of playing the same game. But nothing either switching the game up or watching a movie for a bit doesn't fix. The downfall of Oled was the refresh rate, but that looks like it's fixed on the new models.
"if everything goes to plan."
Yup, get a mass subscription on Game pass so you can justify digital only consoles and games.
Raise the subscription price once it's one of a few options.
Look at Netflix, they raised the cost even after having millions of subscribers AND they lost content due to everyone else wanting their own streaming service. Same thing will happen down the road, every publisher will have their own servi...
Not true in the game pass world they are going to get the same money per game right? Same fee for renting? So more people playing your game for no more money
And how much revenue did they make by having so many more people play it vs sales on the other consoles?
During the Mark Cerny he said any SSD that meets the speed criteria should work on Ps5. Sony will develop a list of compatible SSD's as they become available
I played (and beat) Greedfall. It wasn't that great honestly. The combat was ok, but I was expecting more from the story. It just fell kind of flat for me (the end was better, but pretty slow) and although there weren't fetch quests I felt like the quests were bloated and had you unnecessarily traveling from one house to another to tell people things. You can argue that's what a diplomat would do but for the most part the conversations were not interesting. Just my 02 cents, other...
Until it's the only way to get your games and they price hike it. Developers aren't happy with profits of 30-60$ a year but are going to be happy with a sliver of 120$ a year per person? I don't think so.
If you are going to make a prequel game no way they change the asthetic. It needs to maintain that raw, dark feel of the Last of Us, not kiddy-fi it
The problem is we are going to see the same thing that is happening to TV. It won't be one subscription for 120 a year. We will have MS, Sony, EA, WB etc... All wanting a piece of subscription pie. And just like TV we won't see prices go down to reflect them carrying less content. People need to realise what the future will be if they stop supporting retail and keep pushing subscription.
@chief and how many new subs do we have now compared to even a couple years ago? That's where this is heading if people keep supporting game pass
@kavor how long do you see them maintaining this price? All these publishers can't get by on the millions of copies they sell at 30-60$ but are going to be happy with a slice of 120 a year? This is an end game to justify ending retail sales before having up your only option to play. Subscription without owning anything
Step 1) get millions of people to subscribe to rental services
Step 2)announce not supporting retail due to "lack of interest" "cost for materials/shipping"
Step 3) increase cost of rental services now that there is no alternative
Another one
@jls 30000 people? Nevermind that anyone can sign petitions, even butt hurt Xbox fans but the game sold over 4million! So that means all of.0.0075% think the story needs to be remade. That's literally nothing
@imortus the ps3 offered more with a blu ray player. And you ignored the 500$ ps3 like everyone else likes to. So it was 100$ difference but offered more. Like Xbox and kinect this generation.
