Sheesh, more assets being sold, Sony really want to post a profit for this quarter.
Remember people this is the Reach-Era Bungie that's signed on with Activision. This is not the same Bungie that created Halo 1 - 3, especially after so many Senior Bungie employees have left, but at least Jason Jones is still there. Hopefully Marty O'Donnell goes to 343 Industries and creates the Halo 5 OST, but this is tragic news, especially for someone like me that's loved Bungie for so many years and loved every second of Marty's music.
Damn that is horrible news to hear, hopefully Destiny's OST hasn't changed and it's still O'Donnell's work. Hopefully Marty goes to 343 Industries and begins work on Halo 5's Soundtrack.
You'll see F2P become common this generation, just look at League of Legends, DOTA 2, TF2, World of Tanks, etc. Hopefully publishers don't abuse the model as games like DOTA 2, TF2, Smite, etc can offer a ton of content for free and still be a successful F2P game.
@Chris I was replying to the OP post, I was supporting MS with my post as the person who made the first comment is making an assumption and that's who the comment is directed towards, I wasn't referring to the Stardock CEO.
And you know this because you're an expert on low level APIs and are a developer of the PS4 and an expert on the PS4 architecture and OpenGL? Please son, you know nothing.
It's Halo 5... WITH RATS! RATSTER CHIEF AND RATBITOR UNITE!
Nah I can play better games than that and my hardware is already most likely what the PS5/XB4 will be and low level APIs haven't even released yet :)
I already have a PS5 and Xbox 4, it's called a high end PC.
Looks like a decent upgrade, but I don't think that warrants a full price tag, but I'll decide once I see the gameplay in action, 60 FPS is already making it incredibly hard for me not to buy this master piece day 1 again.
What do you expect, an AMD Processor clocked at 1.6 Ghz is going to bottleneck.
Every game requires skill to an extent, but Call of Duty is a still a casual pick up and play FPS with no recoil weapons. I want to see competitive players master games that have huge skill gaps like Street Fighter, League of Legends, Starcraft 2, CS, etc.
Call of Duty... eSports... *Facepalm*
I miss the days of competitive Counter Strike, Halo 2 and Quake when FPS actually required skill.
This will be a true test for next-gen consoles, I don't expect them to be 1080p, this will be a very demanding game.
Worth $40 I reckon, not $60, so I'll wait for the price to drop as I already own and have beaten the game.
My 2600k and GTX 780 will run this game easy at Ultra. Looking forward to Watch Dogs on PC, dat HBAO+ and TXAA for the PC version looks gorgeous.
They never said PS4 Dev Kit, that was just made up because people saw a PC. In fact there's a NVIDIA GPU, PS4 Dev Kits don't use NVIDIA components, they use AMD components.
Since when do PS4 Dev Kits use a NVIDIA GPU XD
Awesome, can't wait for it, game looks awesome.
I didn't say Sony were doomed? All I said was Sony sold their assets (aka Shares) to most likely recover from their $1.1 billion loss, like they've been doing the past few months (e.g. Sony stores closed, 5000 employees fired, numerous Playstation developers fired, new IPs cancelled, etc) Just same old for Sony as of right now, it's a good move for Sony, they need to recover from their poor financial annual statement.
@Iamnsuperman
That could be true defin...
