its been dead since january.
the lowest the PS3 ever sold in a week was around 50K and the xbox360 60K. and those were one time events. rarely have those consoles ever fallen below 75K
the wii u has been selling in the 30s or 40s for almost every single week so far this year
2013 (rounding to the nearest thousand)
week 1 -- 126K
week 2 -- 49K
week 3 -- 38K
week 4 -- 34K
week 5 -- 37K
week 6 -- 3...
i called this from the very begining. from the second I laid eyes on the wii u, I knew exactly how this would all go down.
i hope to see GT6 and GT vita
that is what I predict. I dont think there will be any foreign market for the 720, it wont have a year head start, and it wont have the advantage it had with the PS3's crappy launch.
I think it will sell 45-50 million at best, while the PS4 sells 80+ million.
is this site still around? i remember over ten years ago they have legend of dragoon a 5/10. saying
"All I can think about is its similarity to FF7, and how stale and unoriginal the whole experience is. This game is such a rip-off of Square's FF7 that I can't believe Sony hasn't been taken to court for copyright infringement. "
the quality of their journalism hasn't changed in 10 years
dont even give this idiot hits. just hit the plus button, vote down and move along
i dont see how the PS4 could be less successful than the PS3, considering the PS3's lackluster launch and difficult first few years.
and im sure the next xbox will fare better, if it doesnt have horrible failure rates like the 360 did.
I think the next generation of consoles are going to be more successful than their predecessors (except the wii u, obviously)
"exclusively for the current gaming platforms, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U"
"NextGen versions (PS4, next xbox) to follow when funding is secured"
i sense butthurt incoming
no one is misusing the term "next gen." the term has multiple contexts and we all know the context it is being used in, when talking about the wii u and its hardware.
in fact, the term has always been primarily used to denote substantial advances in technology, much more so than their chronology. the whole
"wii u is next gen because it came out around the same time as the PS4 and xbox720"
is just an obvious and desperate a...
i would love this but I cant imagine it happening any time soon. how long have people been asking for a FFX remaster? and square are just now getting around to it. so i cant imagine how long it would take for FFXII, unless they already have it in the works.
so many lousy incompetent parents today
saying that microsoft and sony need nintendo is like saying papa johns and pizza hut need ci ci's pizza. true, they are both in the same industry, but they are on totally different sides of a spectrum.
sony and microsoft are in direct competition with each other and in indirect competition with nintendo. if nintendo was taken out of the equation, sony and microsoft's business strategy wouldnt change at all. and neither would the direction of their console innovations....
the biggest reason the wii u has befallen this fate is because people are waiting for the PS4 and next xbox, to get the real next gen leap. everyone I talk to in real life says this.
i didnt know you had an N4G account, dude. if you thought youtube was a damage control circus, just take a look at any article about the wii u on here. lol
"as we aren’t dating next generation platforms yet. Stay tuned."
i could understand that excuse with the PS4 and 720, since the consoles themselves dont have solid release dates yet, but the wii u is already out. and they have already released a COD game for it.
i think the real reason is that they arent sure if the wii u will be able to handle their next COD engine. they are trying to compete with BF4 after all, and the Frostbite 3 engine isnt comi...
at least we know that dice wont use the same engine for the entire generation. BF5 will probably look significantly better than BF4. while next COD after ghosts.... yeah... probably not.
oh japan
i just hope its more like "generations" and less like "unleashed"
i love it when people who don't like and/or know anything about RPGs review RPGs.
