Over 1000 degrees in no time :P
4/6 of those are shooters, there's something wrong with that picture.
I like FPS as well (Far Cry 3, Metro 2033, BF3), but there's more to gaming than just 1 genre I'd think.
Ah nice, good that they listen to the fans.
Nice update also, keeps the player coming back for more.
By far the best game this generation for me, haven't enjoyed any other game this much in a while.
What DoA5 for free?
Damn I bought the CE about 4 months ago for 90+ USD / 80 Euro.
Plus really is beneficial and worth the money I see.
I'm gonna subscribe once I'm back from vacation.
I like the video, and completely agree with what they said.
No point rushing out sequels after sequels on a yearly basis that's half baked.
Most likely 16 million in 2013 was taken out of context.
But looking at the website they might be on to something.
Notice the "Taiwan" stuff on the right side, Foxxcon & Pegatron are Taiwanese companies.
So they might have insider info, Digitimes is also a well known site.
I really hope for a 2013 European release also, PS3 launch made us wait almost 6 months compared to JP/US intitial release.
BC = making EVERYONE pay more when they can be paying less.
2 SKU's is the best solution IMO then everyone will be happy.
Personally I don't give a flying f... about BC.
PS3 came out on November 11th 2006, so 2016 would be 10 year cycle.
Unless they use the EU release date then we're looking at 2017.

Gotta give it to Sony though, as much as this generation has been "messy" for them in a lot of ways.
They've achieved a lot as well and everything they learned this...
Good thing this is only an opinion piece, nothing more nothing less.
As the author seem to completely miss several (if not all) the points of the PS Meeting.
Whatever the case next-gen is here already and gamers are just waiting on MS to reveal their offerings.
As interesting as it might be to look at what the competition is doing, it's healthier to walk your own road and do your own thing (both companies).
It is a great game indeed, I really enjoyed it.
The industry is becoming even more greedy...
40-50 USD should be the average price for games...IMO.
70 USD = 70 Euro = 85 USD +- for a game.....hell with that.
You're spot on, I was just about to write that also and flag this article as lame.
And this is what they call *professional* journalism?
Sony has their own "Oculus Rift" technology.
You can see/buy it from their website --> 800 USD I believe.
In other words they don't need Oculus Rift.
Havok, PhysX by nVidia (as confirmed Sony in their press release).
So no shortcomings so far that I know of...

"As a conclusion, I would like to say just one thing: even though there are some features that are not supported by either OpenGL or Direct3D, we really can say that the two APIs are on par with the number of hardware features they expose."
And of recent nVidia and Valve have been gaining more performance out ...
Crytek is all talk if anything, yet for a company that license/created a powerful engine they can't even program for the PS3 well.

Looking at these pictures I'm inclined to say PC>X360>PS3.
With all the *impressive* stuff they do as a company one would think they would at least be capable to do a better or closer job.
...
Here's a good list as well...

Sony already got her covered.....they improved the vibration on the DS4.
Crysis should have remained a benchmark of some sort, gameplay is utterly boring but apparently Crytek doesn't get it even after almost 6 years.
They always seem to blame everything and everyone else but themselves, one cannot help but wonder how ignorant/blind they are.

Those are Battlefield colors so yes most likely.
