Haha that picture with the article is funny...reminds me of that SouthPark episode.
MS will announce their next console next month if rumors are to be believed.
So we shall see then...

Haha yes pretty much =)
Either way the wait seems almost over...
Damn time isn't going by fast enough, I want to see what happens at E3 this year.

I don't understand why console games cost 2x to 3x more of their PC counterpart to begin with.
If games were priced the same as PC's then perhaps people wouldn't be selling off their games so much.
Hell they might buy more even...at least I would.
I mean come on, they don't have to worry about thousands of configurations like on the PC.
Shouldn't that cut development time itself and/or costs?
So where in that does the consumer benefi...

Because it's information from official documents.
That's not to say that things won't or can't change.

With all the AA variations I find 720p kinda weird (because MSAA is a huge performance hitter).
I wonder how trustworthy this is, should have been submitted as a rumor as nothing is confirmed yet.

I agree with you on the de_dust2 part, as it's the most played map on CS in general.

Always on, always connected.
Kinect is required to be plugged in.

Seems to confirm Edge's article on Durango some months back.
If they block used games as well then the decision is pretty much clear...if it isn't already about which system to go with.

Part 1 of the demo is really impressive, gives this feeling of something grand.
I wouldn't mind seeing that demo turned into a real game.

Awesome, I love these types of games.
Wish they would release Muramasa on the PSN as well.

Even so I got a 7970M in my Alienware, just imagine the removal of the OS and API overhead and we'll end up with the same picture pretty much.
In other words what PC gamers took for granted all along console gamers will get to experience on their HD tv without all the fuss and in full glory.
It's not that bad at all, perhaps the generation after next we'll be going to 4k that should make things interesting haha.

You are right that there won't be any games that run at 2560x1600, but the next generation of consoles doesn't need to run at that resolution either.
We can live without the extra viewing space (amongst other things) compared to 1920x1080.
Not to mention Metro2033 was poorly written that it runs like sh.. on all GPU's.

True 1920x1080 with 4xMSAA/FXAA 16xAF is more than enough for now.
And that's something we'll be seeing and experie...

I just looked at the video on YT and noticed Dawn of the Wolf poster in the game.

Upon research I noticed the domain is registered to a Eric Hayashi (Sony America LLC).
I wonder if it's a new game from Naughty Dog....someone should research it.

It's the same when their source is Gamespot and creating an article with what nVidia said to Gamespot.

And I do agree with you about the AC4/SR4 articles those drove me crazy also.
But it's exactly why we should filter these things so the same aren't approved over and over.
Because it pushes back unique news and more time constraining in general.

All the stories are quoting the original source --> Gamespot.
There's nothing new in the article that hasn't been covered already.

Now, thanks to GameSpot, we know why NVIDIA passed on Sony PlayStation 4: money. Or rather an insufficient amount of it.

“[NVIDIA] came to the conclusion [that it] didn’t want to do the business at the price those guys were willing to pay,” according to Toni Tamasi, senior vice president of content...

What a lame article, if you write a piece at least get the facts straight.
There's no supportive information, it's like the author is completely clueless.

Other than that everyone copies everyone in pretty much all industries.
Which is good for the consumer as they end up with more choices and usually a better product.

It's a lame review at best, I suppose classic RPG's have been absent for too long this generation that people forgot what they were like.

According to a large Dutch online store the PS4 is listed as available on 13-11-2013.
Which seems a reasonable date to me, the site I'm referring to is Bol.com

Great article and was well worth the read.
For all those wanting BC and the lot, this explains things in a crystal clear manner.

In full 1080p/60fps glory with all the bells and whistles.
It's gonna be mindblowing that's for sure, proper AA, AF and all the other stuff.

Ahh next generation is full of awesome.
